What should i do trade my gun for this http://www.automags.org/forums/showthread.php?p=2084530 (hes thinking about it) or get it fixed and keep it. Im not for sure what is worth more, i gave 300 for my gun and barrels, but his gun new is 165 or so!Comment

Ok here is a link to the automag pdf at the Airgun designs websites ( its a big file so it will take you a few mins to down load it ) this shows all the parts how they go in and what they are called.
Automag pdf note you need to have acrobat reader installed on your comp.
also here are some links for getting your marker repaired if you want to go to an authorized repair centerTunamart
Airgun Designs
Also should you want to attempt to fix the problem your self the most like problems are the power tube oring that is put in before the spacer is, the two orings in bottom(top) of the on/off valve , the on/off pin installed upside downComment

Not to be rude, but you seem to lack patience. You have one person offering to fix your marker for free. Others are giving you advice. Take a second and relax. Mags are generally easy to fix.
Leaking down the barrel on a level 7 bolt is caused by the following.
Power Tube Spacer
Power Tube O-Ring
On/Off trouble, usually the teflon oring's are damaged. The pin may also be worn.
If, when you fire and hold the trigger the leak stops, then its the spacer or o-ring. If it continues to leak down the barrel when you are holding the trigger down, then your problem is in the on/off. You're saying you have already tried a spacer kit, so its probably in the on/off. A simple mag parts kit with all the orings will fix the problem. It takes about 10 minutes to install the orings, 20 if its your first time. Its a really easy fix. If the problem is your on/off pin, then that too is a cheap part thats really easy to replace.
Hope that helps, and please try to relax.Comment

So you are saying that there should be an oring BEFORE the powertube spacer? If so mine does not have those, at least from what i see! should they fall out when the spacer comes out or are they in there a good ways. Sorry for the question again i havent looked at the pdf, because it is not downladed but ill do it now. THANKS alot.Originally posted by CoralisOk here is a link to the automag pdf at the Airgun designs websites ( its a big file so it will take you a few mins to down load it ) this shows all the parts how they go in and what they are called.

haha, i've been fixing markers for years as well, i think part of the fun is taking apart your gun and learning it. You wont ruin an automag if you take it apart. The internals are simple IMO. I'd actually rather you not send your marker to me and try to fix yourself-- it could be fun, i enjoy it. Dont let minor problems get you frustrated, just take it easy and check a manual, PDF, or Automags.org tech area. As you can see, we are here to help --

Hey, thanks guys sorry if I came off a little cocky or whatever. But your right i shouldnt be frustrated, its all part of the sport, and i do appreciate your help. Do, you all think this will fix my problem http://store.airgun.com/index.cfm?fu...&categoryID=16 ? Also, does there need to be two o rings that go in before the spacer, i still cant get the pdf to come up (dial up slow). Thanks alot everyone.Last edited by qck95z28; 02-06-2006, 11:25 PM.Comment

it might fix your problem, but then again it might not be an o-ring.
check this:
They say they cleaned out paint from the gun from the paint job, like spraypaint? if thats what was causing the leak out the barrel you might want to clean it out again, paint might be stopping it up. also have you oiled the valve recently?
i might need more info about the problem to help solve it.-fully upped mech mag (magzilla) www.havoc-online.com

No, it isnt spray paint. Its like it was air brushed on, then a clear coat applied. I took the frame off the body, and i see where they took all the paint off that originally just laid between the two (body and frame) now its just bair metal, like it should be i guess. But that is the wierd thing, it worked fine untill i turned up the velocity a littce, then went back to the old rutine.Comment

im not familiar with too many internal valve problems as i havent had many. I'm not sure what it is, someone else might be able to help, or you might find out if AGD will fix your valve and use one of the 4 stars.-fully upped mech mag (magzilla) www.havoc-online.com
