    Super Loader

Ok so i was thinking about making a loader that would hold lots of paint.
I was thinking of making a backpack type loader useing a warp. Use a hard shell inside a fabric backpack. some kind of paddles to load balls into the warp. The problem i see is the length of the feed tube, i suppose it could be routed up the side of the backpack and over the shoulder of the player.

Zero mobility on the part of the player.

Oh, and by the way, Welcome to AO.

I'd buy one. Problem is doing it with a warp doesn't work well. Tom's tried. A backpack rig needs a more powerful loader.

And with a backpack loader if you didnt make it large enuf, there would be no way to load in more paint by yourself if u ran out. You could try some 4" pvc, its bout the right size and could hold a bunch of paint if its not that long cause its soo wide. You could also duel up some Warps for more feeding and splice the tubing. If i had 2 warps id do it for you.

Zero mobility? If you already carry 21 pods on the field, and can now shoot out the left right handed...

I think you would be hard pressed to find anybody on this forum that would want to be attached to a backpack, whilst trying to play effectively. I mean, think about it. You couldn't put any kinks in the warp hose, which wouldn't allow you near the mobility as when you're playing with a marker that is completely un-tethered from you. It just really isn't that good of an idea. Yeah, I'll give you the fact that being able to have 3000 rounds of paint at the ready is truely *****in', having your gun strapped to said paint is not.

actually you could use some of the Pro-team products hose, it is very very flexible and won't get kinked. If one were so inclined to make something like this, I think it would be great for someone in scenario games, I doubt it would ever be legal for anything in professional paintball, just like that one ratchet trigger, where you turn a handle to fire the gun.
good luck, I think you'd need one warp at the bottom with a more powerfull motor to feed another warp which would then go to the users paintball gun, some impellers inside of the stacks of paintballs so you don't get any jams.
would be a site to see
              good luck

I dunno bout that. I run my gun remote already and I don't have mobility problems. Most people seem unwilling to break the norm.

Look, I used to run a remote, and I used to love it. but you can do things with a remote that you just can't do with warp hose. you could darn near pinch it 180 degrees, you could kneel on it, slide with out having to worry that it's coming off, and you can generally abuse it. Moving air is one thing; moving paint is another thing altogether. It just isn't practical.

Depends on how you run it. I run mine over my shoulder. I don't get any kinking problems. The best way to avoid kinks would be to put an inline swivel in the warp hose somewhere. That would get rid of most kinking problems.

splice the tubing? either im not understanding what your talking about or you dont know what your talking about....you can't splice it because in both tubes the balls would be in 1 perfect line and so when the tubes came together they would collide...correct me if im wrong but idunno.

I was thinking you could splice it because they would push into eachother. That was my train of thought but then again i dont no how good of a line it would feed. I was thinkin of like a deck of cards, when you shuffel them right, they will go into eachother without much problem.

Ijust don't think it would be practical prtice wise or perfomace wise to build one of thee back packs. Cause once you worked out the feeding method, you'd have to design the bag as so the balls wouldn't jam up, them make it comfertable to wear, then what happens if your carring half a case of paint all in 1 bag and the pballs start breaking when ur jumping and stuff.... i just don't see ne practical use to it.

If I may pose a poll, how much would you pay someone for this product if you saw him using it at your local field? What if it held 1k rounds and had no trouble keeping up with an angel on full auto?
