A buddy and I are currently working on something like this. Still very much in the design phase and I'm not sure how well it will work. We are curretnly using a camelbak with egg innards at the bottom. We will cut a hole in the bottom of the camel back to push the feedneck of the egg through into a warp that is sewn into the camel back. This will run hose to a warp mounted on gun traditional style. While this is definatly no something for front or mid guys it makes perfect sense for hardcore back guys. Usally people do their moves when you are reloading and this takes away that vulnerability.

I don't know if it's legal to use a system like that in turnamnet Paintball. And i like my Halo and Pods more :) It's a nice idea of the camel pack, but... Most turney backmen shoot 3/4-1 case a game, How will you load all that in, and i like the idea of the egg inards and stuff... it might work... But what happens if the warn Jams up?Comment

i think that you should mount it on your front instead of your back, it would be less hose and less kinks... sure, it'd be a harder surface so there's no bounces, but who the hell pops out of a bunker that far anyway?
I say put it on the chest and abdomen areathe only problem i see with that design is that you can't load as many balls into it, probably max of 700. But the pro to front loaded is you could probably reload it more easily.
Backpack reloading is still a decent idea for scenarios or woods games IMO. It means paint for the whole day, never reloading in the middle of a battle, and you could probably put a tank on that so you have a fully remote setup. Can you say microstroker with unlimited ammo? :) pistol setups would be so cool with a backpack... but it'd be become a pain.

He did... but no one else knows how to make it.Originally posted by SkoadI thought something was made like this already. I seem to remember there was a man who only had 1 arm had a warp mounted on his body somewhere.

not to tax your gig or anything but how long are the games your playin that you need so much paint. i carry a 3+2 and have never loaded more then 2 pods in one game but that was and a really long woods game. just wondering about the type of games your playing best of luck to you
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.

I was always thinking of two motors, maybe three. 1 to stir, another to direct, and the last one to kick that paintball in the donkey down the feedneck faster than you could ever imagine!
Gee my hopper would probably cost like 500 bucks and use a car battery.

I had asked about Warp capabilities a while ago.
Here's a link to the thread .
The man himself told us what we would need to do to modify a Warp to push paint for longer distanses.

no one has ever thought of a dual tube design...geesh
let me explain the theory
instead of pushing balls from one side to the other design a dual tube!
the dual tube will consist on a main tube for the paint balls and the second tube will be joined side to side of the main tube...one side of this tube will be cut out
bah...pictures are more self explanitory

yeah....
without reloading every tube
rewinding every tube
i would be like a long warp tube that comes from a back pack
it would suck for the front and mid player...but for the back it would rule
as those guys need constant feed and lots of paint volume

What if you mounted the cork screw directly under the pack and increased the distance between each blade.Comment

How would you stop the paint from breaking when it is only half full and you have 500 balls banging into each other while you play. As far as the distance for moving balls why not just put 2 or 3 warp feeds in series, 1 in the bottom of thebag, one mounted on the top of the bag on the outside, or in a pocket, then maybe one mounted to a stock on the gun. Loop all them together with hose and you don't have balls going much farther than they would be in normal warp feed use.The user formally known as Lancecst.Comment
cool design , kinda, like the q-loader.
