AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
On a side note regaurding the little HALO 2 Logo....
Would people be interested in having the H2 logo milled out of a Slug body? I was thinking of milling a Slug to look like a ULE, but have the H2 logo raised from the body (like on that lid) on either side of the mag. That H2 Logo is actually curved along the top to match the box lid's curved quarters... and the H2 logo could easily match the curve of a mag body.
Also, the logo could be anything... GOW, H2, AO honeycomb, etc. All that is needed is to swap out the sketch file in the CAD program as long as they are about the same size.

You know what also would be cool? would be to do a litlte honeycomb engrave into the side of regular ULE bodies, where it's flat, by the feedneck. I don't know how much you'd charge for that, but if it was cheap(cause I think you'd have a problem milling for eyes and such later on) I think you'd ge ta pretty good responce..
just a thought.
Boy are you making me envious! I just placed an order for that noid you speak of, and I'll probably be purchasing a chimera frame here shortly. Now I'll just need to purchase an mpa3 and LPR.
You wouldn't happen to have any pictures of your setup with all the connections going into the solenoid?
Thanks again for the inspiration! Can't wait to see your final product.
Here is another thought: When Scott H did this with a ion board and noid, he had to install a t-fitting with a little red camp on it, with a pin whole in the cap. He did this so some air would vent, that way the qev would see the drop in pressure and vent. When I did the same set up, I needed to do the same, even with a qev.
Does the soleinoid you are using vent when it closes, or does it keep the pressure? Will this set up require vent holes?
Thanks,
Z

Warning: Exposure to the SON may prevent burning!!
I ordered the one Captian Pinky Recomended, SMC S070C-SDG-32 it has 3 ports, in, out, and exhaust; and it's smaller. Should do exactly what the MSV-1 does. i'll let you know when I get it.

Are you using a ULT? If you're not, then it most likely won't work. They're only good up to 70psi.
That's a good point... but I think I'll just close my eyes and ignore that statement - then it won't bother me.
good day.
Wait... a normally open solenoid won't work at all, right? If I understand the term correctly, then the air constantly flows through the valve when it's deactivated, and stops the flow when activated.

Am I right?
SHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! You are taking him out of his happy place.
