    Heres the completed pic......

it was pretty easy all and all and it seems like it will hold up for a very long time. as for other necks working. i think any neck that is .870 to .880 in the outside diameter will work.
you have to make sure the length is about the same as the stock one . as for the ccm neck its almost exact from the shoulder of were it tapers to the bottom (once you cut off the threads).......

Ahhh now I am torn. The ccm looks like is goes pretty well with the micro but the hybrid seems to be a bit beefier. Both look like they fit well overall and will function fine. . . hmmmmm I will have to stew on it and order something next week. Nice job thanks for the pics. I will post my project as well.

Well I have decided to sell on the micromag. Thanks for all the advice and pics. I will have to see if I ever get back to these beauties. For the time being I am going with other gun set ups. Thanks again all.

Y'know, I wonder how hard it would be to sand down the stock feedneck, cut it, and slap an Ego neck on there...

Well I will leave the "real answer" to the guys who have done more to the micro than I have (which is nothing at this point). But I think to get a nice even sanding you would have to remove it. And if you have removed it why not just put in a permanent replacement?

Eric, do you cut the treads off then shape the bottom of the feed neck or do you cut the insideofthe body...Thanks Richard

Yo Richard! I cut the neck to my desired length which includes the threads and shape the bottom of the neck to the body. If you want a real tight looking fit then yes, the inside lip of the sight rail needs to be shaved down a touch to give the neck a lower profile. Let me know if you have any other questions. - Eric

I started a thread in the talk forum. Just thought I would add a note here too though. PTP has a few micros that they have threaded the feednecks on. They are selling them with thier patented collet feednecks for ~ 180 depending on what accessories you want to go with the kit. Not a bad deal if you are in the market for a last time ever micro body.

                      Gonna be real picky...

...Is anyone doing this in a reliable way? I have an annoed vert feed Micro that I'd like to be able to clamp down sometimes. Don't want to ruin the anno by putting a whole new neck in there. Options...
