Since when do 'mag owners need a new gun??

      Kidding.

I have about all i need in my arsenal right now. A pump, a 'cocker, a pistol, and an x-valved ule'd mag. I weep at missing my emag already, but ive decided on a Mini for my electro needs. But we'll see if i even need an electro after i pnuemag my mag.

Well I am getting a Mag in a few days....does that count?

I personally don't like the "new model per year" thing. It seems there are little upgrades, and some cosmetic changes. I would rather they let a product be on market till they really have some thing new to offer. I do understand it from a marketing standpoint....but as a player....its just too much....you shell out big bucks for some of those top electro's....and then in a year you "feel" like you have old technology. Unless you have a HUGE bank account there is no way you can keep up with a new marker a year....

I have never purchased a "new" marker and I plan to keep that going strong. For the most part I simply can't justify spending 500 on a marker I could get used for 250.

This has been habit since I was gunwhoring around for ever and just trying to work my way up the chain with as little money spent as possible so its kind of hard to break. Great markers are now for sale for 3xx to 4xx that have all the features I need so I really can't justify spending a thousand on one that has more milling. The only exception for me would be to put a robtown valve and dc milling into my viking because I love that gun.

Just bought a new ULE Custom, but they really haven't changed much. One thing that suprised me was that it was not the same as the one in the picture on the web site. The rail was not milled for the sight rail and foregrip extension. It was in fact a smaller and lighter rail. A pleasant suprise I must say. I am very happy with it. However, AGD hasn't really changed what they offer much. Automag, Minimag, RT. Also Tac One but that really falls under the RT. The only thing they seemed to do is improve on the RT, making it lighter. Anyway, looking for a new marker, you can't go wrong with a ULE Custom.

Sure it makes sense to release a new gun all the time. They make NOTHING from resales, so they have to get people to buy new product by constantly changing it.

I think the only "new" guns I've bought were my Excellerator and my Pro Classic. other than that, I've acquired them all used and pretty much made them "newer" looking and functioning than they were when i bought them. the only gun i am considering getting new now is either an MR2 or a SP8, mainly because I dont have a true tac gun, and if you buy a spyder or smart parts gun used, they usually have alot of wear on them.

It finally has a frame I might could tolerate. Might have to check into one...

I know I was thinking the same thing. It's just that the Threshy is a single tube and it would be an easier transition for me coming from a mag. People would be like, "Woah is that the new NXT???" So the feel will be similar and so will the Shocker comments lol.

i shot a threshold last week. it feels like an even cheaper shocker, if that's even possible.

My newest gun is a 2k3 Angel LCD LE. I see no need for anything new, my Angels and mags still work great, my 98 Shocker still runs on co2 fine, and I still have to fix my Rainmaker anyway (needs cup seal).

i work at a paintball store for paintball supplies. and since i dont play that often, i save up my hours and buy 2 new guns a year which i usually promptly sell for far more then i paid for. turning my $8 an hour into $10 or more
