THE Evil Empire.. those guys are ***s! Little do you all know, I patented the the use of faux poultry marker covers a long long time ago. Of course the patent is so overly broad that covers the use of any barn yard animal real or faux in or about the United States and elsewhere known and unknown to the consumer for the purpose of disguising any other object ever conceived as a barn yard animal. I'm just waiting for Warwitch and DevilMan to do it so I can hit em with a C&D order and laugh my way to the bank.

If you all really do mod a chicken you really need to post picks no matter which direction, "mouth" or "south". The next really great versus thread could be "Which way to mod your chicken? Shoot out of the mouth or "the south"?"

i actually "built" a rubber chicken mag not too long ago. the whole thing was much smaller than i thought, i had to sort of stretch it over the mag, but it is definitely doable. ill get some pics up soon.

i was wondering why nobody ever made a square "tommy gun" body cover for the mag. it's begging for all sorts of milsim stuff. let's face it, thae mag is so small that it would fit into just about any fake firearm type body you'd want to put it into.

Dunno if it's been said already, but it's been done, and done brilliant. Tyson Machado made a sweet sleeve for someone .. oh it was probably .. 6 years ago. I was going to have one made, but ran into money problems.
Ya'll remember the dragon mag right? (Or maybe it wasn't a dragon I forget, it was something cool and had spikes or scales or something)

I would be really surprised if this hasnt been done. Just wondering why nobody ran with it. I will definitely hit him up and see if he cant enlighten me.

                      Thanks for the heads up

edit: well I did a search and found the thread but all the pic links are dead.

Come to think of it, if the guy that did the Sharktooth rail did one of these I guess that removes it from the realm of "completely idiodicy" :)

I'm not sure where I buried my pics, but the one in the thread gives a good idea of what it looks like. I used a pair of the slide on aluminum sight rails. I haven't tried it yet but I think you could stretch them out to fit over a ULE but it might not reach the rail properly.

going to agree with the between mildly retarded and brilliant.

some people might like it but personally i wouldnt want it, you could do some good looking pieces but all they really do is add weight and since the majority of mag users play rec or scenario most arent going to be as big into the looks (IMHO) as tourney players more commonly end up being. i think the reason no one has done it as a production thing is because there probably isnt enough demand.

if you want to do some custom ones and one offs go for it you probably will find customers but i dont think you are going to get 100's and 100's of people begging for them all at once

                          decent idea though

Thanks for the link. That is pretty much what I had in mind. Im working around the logistics of the squared-off feedneck area, Id like to be able to do a one-piece body.

The milsim crowd would eat this up! under $1k for a totally realistic gun with the performance of a mag.

Agreed. The milsim people will love it. A-5's have a dozen or more 'body kits' that are just shrouds over the existing bodies, and those fly off shelves. RT rails already have mounting holes, why not use them to make your mag a Tommygun (with a warp in the drum).
