AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
Mine's pretty simple. My name is Rob, and I have a Opel GT project car.
One of my cousins had one years ago. Loved the lever to open the lights. He wrapped at around a tree and darn near killed himself. The car of course was a casualty
On every forum that I've ever been a part of, I've been Iceman... until now. (Iceman was already taken, although I have yet to see that person ever sign on. Hmm... maybe I can email the mods and steal that guy's username.)
As for Iceman, it actually came from the movie "Top Gun." Iceman was the pilot who always flew very by-the-book... ice cold... no mistakes. So, a bunch of friends started calling me that in college because of the way I played GoldenEye. They even say it the way Tom Cruise did.
Since I couldn't use Iceman, I used rawbutter instead... my website URL. The name for that came from an inside joke that came from of a friend who had pneumonia. The doctors ended up draining fluid out of his lungs, and he said it looked like "raw, lung butter." So from then on, whenever he used butter at the dinner table.... well, you get the idea.
Got mine from my older brother. Well back in my high school days I dated the drama queen psyhcotic "village bicycle" named Molly. Well my older bro hated her and called her a swamp donkey on night when he was baked and he made some comment about calling me the swamp donkey king or something like that. He probably shorten it cause he couldn't remember what he said before or my real name at the time.
I always assumed you took your name from the whiteboard.
Swamp Fox (Vulpes vulpes kenaiensis)
Your typical laid-back rec player, Swampy is good but not great, and thinks a 'Mag is plenty "high tech" for him. A regular hangout at the Shop and frequent bystander when a new gadget gets tested, he's usually the first one to call the fire department. Doesn't mind helping sweep up the debris.
What exactly does Doc mean by "thinks a 'Mag is plenty "high tech" for him"?
Mine came from one of my cars when I started on car forums. The car is a 1987 Merc Cougar 20th Anniversary Edtion. Still have the car 10 years after buying it. Still have the screenname after about the same amount of time.

Iraqis don't like being barrel tagged nor do they find being bunkered "pwnage"
But there is that very nice video of the insurgent with an AR type rifle and the video is by the guys coming in on his right. He gets bunkered with what sounds like a grenade launcher. They may not like it, but hey... Here's to the guys doing the job...
My name was programmed into my head by my wife and children (without the -TW, plain spider was used up years ago.) When someone says "Frank" I will barely notice. If someone yells "spider!" I am programmed to give my immediate attention. It has been embarassingly apparent at times, but at least it gets my attention.
made something that was nonsense, use it for most everything. either this or Space Pope, but thats mostly for videogames.

About 8 years ago I had a friend who got me into dragon ball z. About that same time I started teaching taekwondo, so I was used to being called Mr. The night I created my username, there was an episode of dbz on the tv and I just put the two together.
I go by tWM (the Wise Mexican), but it was never shortened to something nice and sweet like other nicknames. While I was attempting to sign up for Star Wars Galaxies (horrible game now, don't even bother), I put in Whee McGee. 10 minutes later I was told by my friends never to use that name for a account again, and I had found myself a new Nickname
