I like the old battery pack. The new one is way too ugly for the Emag. Angled ones are for knuckleheads.

When you say Does Not Come Off, do you mean it's welded to the main body or grip frame? Or it's a possible to disassemble, but not with a simple field strip screw? I like both the angled and straight versions without the block. I know you would like to pick one, but perhaps standardize on the straight one, and offer the angled one as an aftermarket part.

ugh... not that I know of... but try Warpig's report on the 2001 World Cup, they may have it there.

I couldn't find anything on their website but I only had a quick look.

Ok, I will spend the afternoon searching for this foto ... this would be coooool, if you would only need one battery for all parts ...

Nope, I still like the battery pack that is already on the E-mags.

I like the round pack, hanging 90 degrees without the square block on top, the best.

However, instead of round or block I would kind of like to see something in between. A nice oval grip would be nice. Then you could use Shatley's idea of slip on grip covers in different colors and designs. That way no one would really be calling for milled battery packs.

On a side note, how many other companies would actually ask for input like this? I'll bet if WDP had that ugly IR3 finger guard would'nt be an issue.

                          I don't like it...

I think, like shartley said, covers for the existing packs would be a good idea. Get Dye to make emag stickies for the grip AND the battery in one box, perhaps?

                            my question for tom:

why cant the pack in #3 be removed??? im sure u guys could do that by shortening the removable block...

i really like the looks of #3 and im sure not too many people would care if it was not removable, the only hassle would be changing the batterys then... inless u came up with a charger that could be attached to the bottom of the pack

i don't own an e-mag but here's my input. i would rather have a square pack that last longer and is rechargable than having to change out AA batteries all day. is there is someway to find a Stick type of rechargable battery still NiMh, then that would be better.

I'm rather fond of #3, I think with finger grooves the comfort and drop in weight would make it worth it to have to use alkanine batteries; we can always use manual if they die. I can't stand angled grips.
