    Me no likey.

I personaly like the old battery pack. The idea for slip on covers sounds like a good idea.

Tom: Why don't you mount the battery parallel to the barrel and then add a spot to mount a aftermarket grip. Maybe a dummy ASA or just a threaded hole.

That way everybody can have what they want.
I actually meant for it to be a 0* foregrip. Kinda like how you hold assult rifles in the real gun world. There would be a space between the barrel and the grip though so you can change your grip for good tucking... Just imagine it and you'll figure it out.

Edit: It could be 0* or 180* depending on which direction you're looking at it (counterclockwise and clockwise) but you get my point, foregrip parallel to the barrel with about 1 inch clearance.

What is up with the ithree different trigger frame stlyes. I like the last one the best, but if you could make one with out the old battery rail (like pic 2 is I think). have the detachable battery, but have the screw in square part shorter, would look really nice. I like that look because it looks like you could fit a finger in the space where the rail was, but I dont like the big square because it just look off.

The new designs are nice. It'd be a tough decision between the angled one and the old style. I do like the standard battery, don't drop it.

I have to say stay with the original battery. I like the idea of the bigger rechargeable battery that can run the warp and the loader. charge one battery and play all day.
I like the idea of grips or covers with colors or jems, gives people some choises for customizing there own marker.

Just keep the battery pack the way it is and do some milling on it. Put some small finger groves in it or something. I do not understand why you did not mill some finger grooves into the grip frame also. At the moment I am much more interseted in the 4500 flatline on that gun. What is the holdup with the 4500's??? I am on the verge picking up a new Max Flow or an Apocolypse if you do not get the flatline out in the next month.

                    Ghetto.

What about this (add your own foregrip):

Make a tank cover with a pocket in it for the battery, short wire from battery to EMag grip frame.

I have to agree with Shartley and Thordic about the battery. The battery cover idea would seem to work well IMO, and it wouldent cost nearly as much to develop and put out.

I wanted to do that for the fantasy emag contest but i couldn't find a way to make an image to show that...

I'd like to have the option of both. It gives the buyer a choice.

Well since this came back up to top,
I think Tom wants to head for the removable type, to be retrofittable (easily) to existing E-mags and E-mag variants.

So I just made this little sketch for my idea.
A little more milling and metal though. Basically it's to fit with the contours of the body better, and aesthetics is very much the current trump card in paintball today. Basically it adds curves to the sides where the field strip holds the battery in, and blends the circular battery pack in with the trigger guard, instead of being so abrupt (sorry Tom) in Tom's design.

Sorry bout the nasty looking picture, I'm on my friend's computer, it's 5 am, and she only has "paint".. no photoshop .

The old grip looks like it flows more with the gun,but i can see where you are going with this new one too.How bout milling some finger grooves in it and make it pretty.
