You can usually find partial kits in the BST on forums. I am not too sure about getting a partial kit new though... You can usually by individual pieces and make your own kit though.

If I was to buy a new barrel set up, I would probably go with a deadlywind barrel and buy the individual inserts needed for that, probably just a couple of the smaller ones

I looked at them, and just wasn't a big fan of the carbon fiber look. Right now it's looking like a powerlyte, or a TI kit. I'm still holding out on the freak cause it's SP.

Another thing that you might look into is the Check-It JR3. I do not have the kit, just two of the two piece barrels (one for my Angel and one for my Cocker/Mags). I got them both in trades so the price was right. The shoot nice. The downside is that they were wicked expensive IIRC...

I like my WGP Kaner kit. Inserts don't appeal to me.

Looks like there are not any more kits around so you would have to assemble one yourself. I was able to find them sold as a two piece and extra backs sold separately. The two places I looked only had two bore sizes though.

What I usually do check the closeout/clearance section of you favorite paintball web store and find two decent barrels.

GL finding a kit/ set of barrels that works for ya

Try the CP barrel kit. You can't go wrong with something that doesn't use sleeves.

You can also order it from your B&M for about the same price, including shipping. I WILL warn you. It may take a good month or so to get it. If you can wait, then go for it. I have an 8 year old CP one piece for my spyder that has never known the joys of a protective sock, and yet hardly has any scratches. Trust me, it is well well worth it. There is no higher quality product.

The first aftermarket barrel I ever bought was a two piece CP for my Spyder Shutter. I wish I still had that little guy.

I just got a great deal on this barrel kit from Silhouette, and it works just fine.

From time to time you can find the SM1 kits on the forums or Ebay for really good prices.
