An A1 with Boost2 and Magno internals will get over 1.25 cases... Properly tuned, we're looking at 2500+ shots. The AR:K is comparable. My Excal (RT valve, Humph noids, Pandora board) gets 1900+ now and I tended to get about 1500-1600 with a mostly stock Viking (Tornado valve, Mac noid, WAS EQ board, SCMII)... Maybe it's just me, but I've always found Excals to be more efficient.

The major differences between a new Angel and an old Viking? Size, weight, availability of parts, ease of maintenance, age, wear from use, factory support, and modern features (screen on board, magnetic valve, etc). The AR:K is, as a good friend puts it, is essentially an upside-down an backwards Viking. Granted it weighs that much less, shoots that much more paint from a 68/45, but essentially it's the same idea.

I love my AKA guns. I'm actually honing my collection down to Automags, Angels, and AKAs... I don't try to fool myself when it comes to quality. If AKA had stuck around and actually given us some Evil-Ms, I imagine that they'd be innovating in the same way Angel Sports (formerly WDP) is currently. I can only hope that they throw their hat back in the ring; I'm sick of just buying regs and feednecks

      PS
A brand new DYE NT gets 1500 shots per 68/4500 and costs $1500...

Well sex arives in the form of a marker for all of us. Why is someone else any different. druid showed his, i showed mine, xero28, catorockwell.

So im sorry to dirty your precious aka thread. Let the circle jerk begin(for the record i like anything AKA).

I was simply hoping for some pics of other hot guns that people recently got. But i guess you know my intentions, you know me so well. If a pat on the back was all that was wanted then post it as, my mew marker, or something.

And i dont think a timmy is a better marker than any AKA marker. I was simply showing my new arival, but, thats reserved for cool people that aren't ignored.

Further more, i love being ignored on the field. Makes the ones ignoring me easy targets. Mabye thats my strategy

So druid nice grab, i hope to get a viking someday, or an excal.

          --Edit--
Some of this thread is stupid. Nice Vikings though.

I thought the Timmy was cool. I also thought this would be a good thread to post up some fun projects we've all been enjoying along with our Automags.

MCB has several for sale as does AO [one or three]

Yeah but you get what I mean. The Viking got the efficiency thing back in 03...whereas companies are just NOW starting to [truly] worry about it. Had AKA stayed in the race, it would be THEM with the innovation everyone clamors for.

You didn't dirty the thread because you uposted something non-AKA...you started in with an attitude that was either inappropriate or misinterpreted. I'm all for showing off gear but I don't "get off" by how something looks either. You'd know that if you met my wife

Seriously though, "looks" mean little to me. I'm more about function and efficiency. The Viking is stock with the exception to the Dye Stickies...and the 3 Timmies [non-PL] I had just weren't worth their weight in ant poop.

I was simply hoping for some pics of other hot guns that people recently got. But i guess you know my intentions, you know me so well. If a pat on the back was all that was wanted then post it as, my mew marker, or something.

To which I have absolutely no problem with. What you are failing to understand is that everyone who jumped at you, did so NOT because you posted your marker [by itself]...but you posted it along with wording that we could only interpret to be that you tried to sound like a cheeze head. Personally, I don't think you are but I DO think you were a little overzealous when you DID post what you did. Remember that you will often "get what you give" in life.

And i dont think a timmy is a better marker than any AKA marker. I was simply showing my new arival, but, thats reserved for cool people that aren't ignored.

They way you came off, you did. But - that's neither here nor there. As far as "cool" people...well...that too is up for interpretation now isn't it?

Further more, i love being ignored on the field. Makes the ones ignoring me easy targets. Mabye thats my strategy

Thank you. There's a urinating match on another forum right now..."Viking versus Excalibur" and I have to say...I really don't know why...lol.
Viking- open bolt, milled or unmilled, one noid in either MAC or Humphrey's.
Excal - closed bolt, Milled [or unmilled?], 2 noids [twice the battery consumption, especially if MAC], internals "flipped" from right to left tubes.

Both have Tornado Valves, Lightening Bolts and Sidewinders. There were at least 3 or 4 boards available for them both. I personally don't see what the hub-bub is all about...why the angst between the 2 markers.

So don't ask me which is better to have, I don't know that answer. All I know is that I've made a good choice I think, given that I'm not all wrapped up in aesthetics. I'd rather have the ugliest marker in the world, run rings around the hawtest.

Attitude? I SAID THIS, does this help, my new toy. after others were bashing the pic quality. No other text al all. So attitude? Again you know me so well. You can see atitude when i say nothing. Here is your response to me saying nothing. "No, not really because the last 3 Timmies I owned were nothing but ****. They rank with me, just like Smart Parts ranks with 90% of this forum."

So lets see, you bash my marker and now say i have an attitude problem. I have yet to say anything insulting, and i have not put anything down, or resorted to name calling. Who has the attitude? That is all you man.

Correct me if I am wrong, but isn't it still possible to get the newer boards for the Vikings so the can run current tournament modes?

Anything and I mean ANYTHING will run a Universal T-Board from Scenario Dreams which is obviously still available. That said, the older "new" boards are the way to go. Both the WAS Equalizer and Pandora can be flashed to current tournament modes and settings, or whatever tournament modes and settings might come up in the future. I'd actually say they're more able to "grow" with the demands of the sport than many current boards.

well then accept my apologies for misinterpreting a post's inability to show inflection. It's a nice [meaning good] pic of a Timmy. Thank you for sharing it.

Yes, I know and I'm sorry. I had to use a camcorder because my 14yr old daughter lost my still camera. Here's a set of pics provided from the Sale thread...they are much MUCH better:

Yes, I thought about a TBoard but there are two "open bolt" models offered...a "single" and a "dual button" design. I'm not sure which would apply to the Viking. I'd hazard a guess at a "single button" considering it's only the "slide switch" that operates the marker...as well as trigger-pulls to move the modes/settings.
