I think it looks really nice. I love the look of the mp5. Only if it has a retractable butt stock which would make it even more like an mp5.
set up: Micro e-mag with 32 degree chrome flame drop, Level 10, 88/4500 crossfire, 12 in CP, 32 degree whisper and ARADUS 14in barrel, EVO II.

The key word here is TIPPMANN,because of that name it will sell.Tippmann has a lot of fans that will rush to buy it.Tippmann rarely makes new guns unlike PMI and Kingman.Tippmann guns are of great quality so people will buy them.

Tippmanns remind me of mags.... Both are very reliable, can be ran over by a car and still work, both have great customer service, both have wierd new feed systems (I know warp feed fits on all guns but its still made by AGD), and umm.. they are both old companies

          Hmmm I wonder ...

          If it would take m98 add-ons ...

          1) put on the electric trigger upgrade
          2) a nitro tank with a decent flow rate
          3) imagine something like an upside down funnel using the warp feed to feed balls into the "hopper" area
          4) attach the following stock to it ....

Its almost tempting to try out ...

it is a nice gun ( for a tippmann ) but that would be nice with all the upgrades and a flatline barrel.

*L* If there is a selector switch I would have to paint on the red bullets, for rof selector, and the white bullet with the line through it for safe.

Too many ideas for this thing :)

AllAmericanMag: No, out of the box it's semi-auto only... But Tippmann will be making both a Response Trigger and an electro gripframe for it in the very near future.

Obviously Tippman has not learned the first rule of computer buying.... "Dont Buy Propritary Crap" :P First time I saw this marker I thought that Compaq went and designed a paintball gun...

Now to be serious I fear for the sucess of this gun... I can only see it being popular for scenario games and swat training. Simply due to the steep 300 dollar pricetag on it.

If I had the cash to get one I prolly would cut the barrel, put a stock on it and throw away the bottom line in favor of a 4 ounce tank.

                            but its highly unlikley

Just my 2 cents, I don't think tippmann cares one way or the other about tournaments. They know that the real money is with the rec players. I think this would be a really cool gun for senario games as well. The loader looks bigger than the older FA one, and who would you want to use another loader with it if it already has one? I'm curious to see how well it works. I love the looks of it.

ok well i have looked at the gun and have really thought about it...i think it will be a specialty gun...i mean something that you probably wouldnt start with or upgrade to if you want it as your main gun...i think that it will be a nice addition to the tippmann family all of their guns are good...i have a model 98 with expansion chamber and flatline and has never given me problems...so what if the gun is overpriced it looks like its worth it though with the built in agitator... when all guns come out new they are expensive especially something like this with it being special(agitator and what not)...i mean my minimag was bought new many years ago for about 3x what i bought it for used...so i saw give it a chance tippmann has given the paintball industry a remarkable gun(98 series) and i think is allowed to sell a new non-standard gun...i think that if i had the cash and i knew a little more about it i would buy it i am a recball scenario player and i like this kind of stuff....
