This is why Texas is such a great state
The places Ive played in Texas let you play with your own paint with like a $7-$14 fee or $60 for a case of Bigball or $50 for some Diablo. Plus $7-10 for field fee. and they have decent fields.
But there are places that have screwed up refs and they charge you like $90 for a case of some crap brass eagle and $20 to let on the field. Now how do these places stay open? well they did....until they shut down. People started to ban and shut down these POS fields. People voiced their opinion and the fields that listened, well are still here and are making a profit still by lowering the price and making the prices affordable more people.
When I hear that $70-$100 a case and outrageous field fees up north just persuade the field owners to lower prices. voice your opinion, local bans, your the consumer its like any other buisness. If they dont listen, well they deserve to shut down(unless they are honest people and the land prices are really bad, then dont listen to me). Its hard to do, not playing paintball, hurting the paintball community, but you are the player, the people need to decide what they need to do.
Or What I suggest? Move down to the south and play paintball the best way, cheap. Plus you can play paintball all year round, it stays above like 50 the whole year. But 110 in the summer:)
