Ya, it's a little rough around the edges, but I like the slogan. I guess I'm kinda biased though. All in all I seen a lot of good idea's. #46 Differently caught my attention. People might not see anything else in the ad though. I didn't realize there was a marker on it at first! LOL I'm a pervert though so my opinion doesn't count. Good luck to all.

wow most of these are really great. You guys are right about the popular vote, i pretty much know my entry won't win because theres so many others with amazing computer graphics and people tend to lean towards that, even so i still had fun doing it.

Also lemmie just clear up any confusion, Tom you can take out number 29, that was my first entry before i knew you had to submit your AO name as the filename number 8 was my re-submission incase the first was lost

You just can't win, can you Tom?

Here is a trick, if you decide to use a different Billboard than the one that wins, lie about who won! Sure it sounds shifty, but what you don't know won't kill you

Everyone relax, it's a nice contest. Tom is going to do what is the best interest of AGD. Just be thankful that the company gets so involved with its customers.

the ones you got were pretty cool

i liked the basic idea mine had though but i couldnt go beyond that because i dont have the materials nor if i did would i have time to figure it out before hand. I was under the impression that you were going to touch em up anyway so i figured i'd give you a basic idea.

no complaints though just was confused on what type of product you wanted me to send in.

                          shartley,

I don't believe I took your statement "out of context". If you intended something else, then it was clearly not stated there. Or I missed it. Sorry I didn't reply to your entire post... Didn't think I was required to.

You ran the other contests very tight. You did well, but you were also very strick sometimes. Good job, I'm sorry about comments I said in the past. Must have been the stress getting to you...

I think one of the major problems with this contest was that there was NO deadline stated in the original post. If there was, I missed it. I only noticed the day before that it was ending in 24 or less hours...

I'm sure allot of people, just like me, procrastinate till the deadline. That package design I did, I didn't start it till a few days before the deadline.

This contest didn't need "that many" rules or tips. It was to show your creativity and let your ideas flow.

                            Intent

You have to realize what was Tom's real intent. It was to get some ideas from paintballers on what they thought a cool billboard would look like. I think he got some great ideas. As you notice he also got many very different ideas. I have seen people hired to make logos and this is hard to get. Often the ideas from a marketing agency are limited to there experiances and they all do not know paintball. By doing this we know paintball but not the medium as well. The combination that Tom is using works great. We give him ideas and a marketing agency can refine them into a billboard with appeal to the market that looks great.
                            Go Tom.

I am really encouraged by the discourse going on in this thread.

If Tom was a high strung individual, he might let this get to him and stress him out, leading to a not-so-pretty abrupt halt of this and all future online contests.

But Tom is one of the most intelligent business owners I have ever come into (indirect) contact with, and the discussion in this thread is like gold to him. He gets to use a broad base of professionals and consumers, FOR FREE, to be his marketing staff. How cool is that!

So kudos to those who have constructive criticism on the feasability of the entries in this contest, kudos to those who entered, and kudos to those in full support of AGD. It's been nothing but win-win so far. Most of all, kudos to keeping the discussion civil. You wont get that on any other online BB.

Can you tell it's friday I'm happy today!
