    Tom say it ain't so......

I heard that automag is changing to cocker threads, in my oppinion thats a big mistak for 1 its impossible to strip a mag barrel theres no threads, but a threaded barrel can be stripped. There fast to remove and clean. There only about $10 dollars to buy, ($10 more than a threaded barrel). If u chop a ball in a threaded barrel it gets all over the bolt, barrel and the chamber of the gun, so u have to take the whole gun apart to clean the gun body out. In the current mag barrels it only gets on the end of the bolt and the barrel, all thats need to clean id a squegge and cloth. Also once the barrels are changed it will be hard to find old mag barrels.

Also in my oppinion the mag will loose a great deal of individuality when u chang the twist n lock to threads.

i'm preety sure only the aluminum body guns (extremems, micro mags, and SFLs) are cocker threaded, i myself don't mind them at all becasue on one side you have the easy to remove/clean mag barrel and on the other side you have the ten bucks cheaper more easy to find barrel

im never getting rid of my twist lock barrels.....ide rather do with the weight of a normal emag than with unscrewing the barrel 5minutes just to squeegie after a barrel break...

You have to be really trying to strip cocker threads, let alone any barrel threads. A mag barrel can get jammed in the barrel if the nubbins get bent. Both barrels have their pros and cons. If you don't want to use cocker threads just keep using your regular mag body and don't worry about it.

but i heard they may change all mags to cocker threads, and i only use plastic nubbins not metal, and once thay change barrel manufacturer's will discontinue making mag barrels

i love the twist n lock, they go in the gun far, so it looks shorter.. i think the AA 12" looks awesome on a classic body (thats what i have) and i think even the extreems should have twist lock on it bc u can make it sooo easy 2 take apart the breech well the barrel is pretty much the breach on a mag, but on the other hand.. we will need custom made barrels to fit the warp/virt extreems... (if it were twistlock

They couldn't change regular Mag bodies (Mag, Mini, E-Mag, RTP, etc) to Cocker threads without completely redesigning them. There's nothing for the threads to screw into.
