I just ordered an PF/HL Emag for 799.75, I clicked on 3Day Residential shipping, they immediately tacked on 37.82 for shipping charges. Can you belive that. I've payed less for UPS Overnight and Fed Ex Priority Overnight.
I decided to change the method of shipment to UPS Ground and now I'm stuck waiting for about a week to get the marker that should've been here by Friday at the latest. This will be the last time I order from them, unless they decide to ship me two of them by accident.

yeah..it's too bad one of the two biggest paintball mail/internet order companies is totally imcompetent..but they always seem to have AGD stuff in stock (considering they could drive to AGD on two dollars worth of gas)

It would appear as though they try every way possible to screw the customer on any and everything. But for 800 bucks I couldn't say no...know what I mean?

I think that i'm just gonna keep ordering a bunch of little stuff from pbgear until they screw up and send me a maxflo freak vision impy. How cool would it be to order a pack of tank o-rings and get a sweet marker.

Well they could have charged you two times, like they did to me. Be sure to watch your charge card statement.Be sure to check this months bill and next months. I am glad that I did. I ordered $100 worth of stuff and they charged me $200.

Well first off they dont even have any Emags. And when you do get one, It will be an old stlye...not ule, and not x valve...shoulda asked me...

You think paintballgear.com is bad, try 888paintball. These guys may be THE biggest around and they can't get an order right to save their souls.

I ordered a Palmer Male Stabalizer and a 0-600 guage. What I got was a Palmer Inline Reg with scratches and GOUGES all over the place, and a 0-1200 guage. So I call and for 3 days their customer service person is out with the flu. I understand that people get sick, but he is the ONLY ONE. The internet retailer that is the offshoot of National Paintball Supply (the biggest wholesaler in the industry) has ONE customer service representantive and he is sick.

But the story is not over yet, ladies and gentleman. When I finally speak to their customer service department/person, he arranges for a UPS pickup, which will get to me in 3-5 business days. Now I am in NYC. There is a plethora of UPS offices in this city.

And then when they receive their goods, I should get my (hopefully) correct order in a week and a half.

I am still waiting (unhappily)for the UPS pickup.

888 is OWNED BY NATIONAL PAINTBALL SUPPLY and is used as an output for their cosmetically blemished items. They do sell perfect items but ALL blemished items go to 888...

Paintballgear, i havnt recovered such damaging remarks about them...but i do hate their service. I dont like dealing with them.

The guys here on the forum will help you. B/w Tunaman, Rob AGD and myself, we will keep you supplied with gear!

Frankly, I have no real problem with blemished items as long as they work properly. I play hard and blemish my own equipement more than enough. However, the sheer lack of support, or even competency is what gets my goat about the whole experience.

I just put an order in to both of these places the same day. I also placed an order with RAVEN and RENEGADE RACING.

Something paintball related showed up on my doorstep yesterday, but I do not know from who...

I used to use NPS as my supplier years ago when I was in the paintball retail business. One of the reasons I quit dealing with them and many other suppliers was because I would recieve damaged, used, and most times, incorrect products compared to what I orderred.

It's rare to find businesses in the Paintball World that have excellent customer service - When one is found ( AGD, TUNAMAN, ETC ) they will always maintain a a good customer base, where companies like 888 and Paintball Gear will have one time customers that never use their service again. Good businesses have crumbled because they grew too big to handle their support, or they just didnt care any more about thier customers - Look back through posts on AO, there are many companies that started with a great reputation, falterred badly on support, and crumbled into ashes and disappeared.

Much like the Good trader/Bad trader lists, the AO community should begin a list of Good Business/Bad Business listings, so we all know where we can get our Mag ( and other ) parts and products with as little hassle as possible.

I personally have had to deal with my guns being lost when sent in for repair, parts being damaged, being overcharged for my parts, waiting 2+ months to get my equipment back, paid for work that was never done or done improperly, shorted parts, and flat out ignored my some major retailers and manufacturers.

For all those companies that strive to help the customer, I commend you, for the others who just want to make a buck and move on to the next sucker....(insert heavily filterred comment here)

my intelliframe and barrel

Hey,
I just ordered my intelliframe and all american barrel off there and i it took 19 days to get here. But i live in Germany so it usually takes that long which sucks. They sent everything perfect and brand new. I like paintballgear.com they usually respond to ever question i ask about the stuff. But there shipping is a pain in the A** it cost me freaking 28 bucks for ground shipping for like 3 pounds of stuff. Maybe it's because i live in germany i don't know. But overall paintballgear is probaly one of the best places to go. Also xpaintball rocks.

TUNA You were so right! I just called and those dolts tell me it's an instock item, only to call me back and tell me that they are out of stock and he was looking at the backorder log.
