AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
I felt the same way until I played with an Dark Angel for a while. I could have been the one I had, but it didn't have the accuracy of my retro mag, so I switched back.
BTW-I was always a big skeptic about cockers shooting so straight until I shot one and was REALLY impressed. I wouldn't say they are more accurate, they just have a different trajectory. It seems that Cockers have a flatter trajectory than Mags. Mags tend to have a higher arc (tend to 'lob' paintballs). Do you not agree?
this has been asked how many times now, and the answer has always been E-mag. and that was B4 Lvl 10. now that Lvl 10 is out, the answer IS DIFFENATELY E-mag

As for anybody that says a mag is more accurate then a angel please stop thinking that. I've had days were both would be dead on. The only difference I've noticed is angels are easier on paint. Whether that effects accuracy is beyond me. So i'll say both are the same if both have matching bore sizes.
I've shot all mags, and still for my kinda of tournament play i wasnt impressed enough. I dont know what it is, they just didnt do the job for me. I've got 7k shots on my Dark IR3, with 0 breaks. I've put diablo imperial through it, if any of you know what it is then you will understand y that is such an accomplishment. I'll just said i'd pay alot of money to watch a mag shoot it.
I am in no way putting down mags, but i will never go back to them. Maybe i'll build one with a LVL10 in it but prolly not. Instead i shoot a cocker for a back-up/practice gun. I couldnt trust a mag in a tourney, with an angel i can.
I LOVE MY NEW ANGEL AND WOULD PICK IT OVER ANY MAG!!!!!!

I am actually in the market to bu ANY gun I want....and I cannot decide.
The E-Mag...its heavier...not as pretty (yes this matters me to me)...the feel is not as comfy...I can fire it insanly fast...level 10 is coming out...but i'd have to pay for it...as well as an aluminum body.
The Angel...can get very pretty...is naturally good on paint and everything...can fire fast...not as fast as E-Mag...is lighter...is very mainstream (indiferent.)
then of course there's the SFL Cockers which are nice as hell....and all these other crazy guns!!!!! ahhh! I cant decide!
lookin fer IR3 or Xtreme (C&C)
black RT Mag for sale. Great condition. Stock barrel, sanded bolt, I-frame, blade trigger. Extra parts, bolt spring, internals o-rings, extra hardline, nubbins, hardline. it doesnt break balls except on ppl. asking $450.
- It's very accurate, way better than my Angel (Improved with the IR3, but still not as accurate)
- I can shoot easily 2bps faster with the Emag, thanks to the hybrid mode.
- And it's way more reliable than the Angel (thanks to the way it's design, and the mechanical mode) (2 days ago the board of one of our Angels stopped working just before the first match at Camp Masters, and for another one it was impossible to go above 250fps).
The only drawbacks are:
- There's no support from AGD-Europe during the main competitions (except at Toulouse)
- The old version the Emag is heavy for some poeple.

Just to try and put to rest the accuracy arguments:
A lot of people in paintball misuse the term accuracy, or perhaps, the word accuracy has gained a new meaning thanks to paintball. Accuracy is, in short, the ability to make the ball go where you want it to by pointing your marker there. In this aspect, if equal paint, barrel, and velocity are established, the gun is no longer a variable (as far as ONE SHOT accuracy, which is the real meaning of the term). What many have come to call accuracy is actually CONSISTENCY. When barrel and paint are eliminated as variables, the only variable left in MULTIPLE SHOT measurements is the consistency of the force behind the ball, which CAN be affected by your marker. Your gun can be more CONSISTENT than another gun, but not more ACCURATE. A barrel can be accurate, quality paint can be accurate, but a gun cannot, on a one shot basis, be more or less accurate than another. This is where the Angel/ Mag debate comes in. No, a Mag isn't any more accurate than an Angel, if the same barrel and paint are used and velocity is uniform. But, like someone said earlier, while it may take 30 shots to hit an ankle with an Angel, a Mag will normally be able to do that much more easily, because a Mag is, by design, much more consistent in airflow, and mechanically thanks to Tom's strict-to-the-point-of-being-anal tolerances (thank you, by the way, for those, Tom). If you want a status symbol that can spray paint (all over the place) get an Angel. If you want a quality piece of equipment that's fast AND CONSISTENT, well, you all know. Thanks for anyone brave enough to read this far, you all get a cookie. And Tom (and all the folks at AGD), thanks for always giving us more than our money's worth and always going the extra mile for your customers. Level 10 will change the way I play paintball...

definitally the emag. mainly because your getting 2 guns in one. mostly the manual and electric mode (hybrid ohhhhhh)
with angels you don't. if just somehow your battery died on the angel. your screwed til you charge..but with the emags you don't. but. thahts old news to you all
Originally posted by zekewh Well, I guess I will be the oddball. I vote angel. I have a mag as my backup gun. I always use my angel though. People say, "it will run out of battery". I mean, come on. Do you really expect someone that is going into a tourny not to charge up their angel? Then accuracy. I don't believe it is the gun. I believe it is the paint and the barrel. Have bad paint...there ya go. Have a bad barrel...there ya go. Then vice versa for the good. Personally, I think the emag is heavier than the angel I use. That is my opinion. Everyone has 'em. See ya later.
Yes, a Angel on our team...With a fully charged battery night before...Had a problem with the batery...Now he is buying a new one...He borrowed a new Timmy which was insanly cool.
