Would it be possible to add a bit more meat to the frame where the field strip screw is located? It would be nice if the field strip screw was inset into the grip, almost countersunk, if that makes sense. My only gripe about the I-frame (or any 'Mag frame for that matter) is the field strip screw rubbing my thumb raw from carrying it around.

Im sorry but that request about the trigger stop makes me wanna do somthing that might make the Devil proud. A mag trigger is pneumatic, you cant shorten it with out disrupting the timing. Even if you just use a set screw, you dont allow the on/off to cycle completley. Causing shoot down, and other various effects. My intelliframe trigger was incredibly short and crisp with out the use of a stop...... I wouldnt expect any thing less from AGD

I hope they dont include stops. In my opinion that will ruin them because AGD is known for reliability and when you add somthing user adjustable, 90% of the people may not know what it is or what side effects it has, but they will adjust it any ways.

BTW, if you understood nothing I said above, read this again.

      Guys, Guys, Guys.
Trigger stops do NEXT to nothing. Who cares how long the pull looks. If you have a mag you know theres a ROD that magically pops out. This rod has TENSION. when you pull the rod, and the gun shoots, you learn to RELEASE it, and pull again.

I've had the best of the best and the worst of the worst as far as frames are concerned on all of my mags, and have never felt the need/desire for a trigger stop.

And to the guy who said I frames are adjustable, they're not.

Anyhow, I love this thing now, I can't wait to have one.

Definately lose the snatch part...looks too damn fugly. And just "say no" to trigger stops...we all know what problems that would cause. The Idea about recessing the rear field strip screw is a good one. A shorter screw would be all that is needed. In any case, looks like a winner. Now...if we could only get those swirl marks from the machining off....or shoot the polisher.

Im going to have to say, make the angle more extreme like similar to the Z grip, Extremer, better. The Snatch thingy, i couldnt care less, it wouldnt bother me but it would be pretty useless, and might hurt my hand on the semi sharpish bump.

                So far so good.

But if you're gonna use the snatch could you make it a bit more... Well I dunno, less like a hanging organ or something. Or lose the snatch completely.

AHHH! DITCH THE SNATCH GRIP!!! it looks horrible... the flow is all wrong and with a mag the field strip screw is basically a snatch grip in itself since it pops out enough to get a finger behind it.

                  .

OK. Can someone clear up the "running on the break with your snatch grip?" Just don't get it. If you're back or mid and you want to shoot off the break...you shoot. If you're front and you want to get as much position as possible on the break, you run. Where does holding a 8lb. setup with 1 finger help you run faster?

Also, i couldn't care less about the snatch, and I don't think that the inset field strip screw is necessary.

In a .45 frame, the field strip area is pretty close to where the webbing between your thumb and 2nd finger are.

On the Y frame that same area seems liek it would be hugging the back of the frame.

It doesnt bother me on the intelli's, and i think it would have a less of a chance of bothering me on the Y.

I really want a Y-frame. And a snatch grip. But the same can't be said for everyone. I really think it would be better if the snatch grips came as sepperate pieces...

Cryer, you want a snatch grip, right? Now please tell me the benefit of running of the break with it, if you're such a fan. Thanks!

And Miscue, i think you've got as much skillz as tom to photochop it onto a picture of a mag

As some said, there's no need for a snatch grip. People just should learn to use more than one finger to carry their gun .

I would like to agree with tunaman, loose the snatch grip, recess the strip screw and make them ASAP.
