The detent is going in the bottom of the body between the rail and the body.

I've go to thread the hole and install the detent. Hope to do that tomorrow.

                        Jester,

It was a verticle feed sluggo sold in the AGD store.

I filled in the original keyways with a tig welder.
Rebored the inside on a lathe.
Turned down the outside on a lathe, all except where the new threaded hole to hold the body to the frame needed to be.

I turned the body to the angle I wanted the feed to be and figure out where the new mounting hole needed to be. I had to use a mill to mill the body down around the new mounting hole and threaded it.

I milled out the rail to accomodate the side feed.

The ball detent is in the same place as on the original sluggo, however with the body turned it is now underneath.

I didn't have the rethread the body or worry about the ball feed since it is as original, just turned 120 deg or so.

What is the thread pitch for the angel feed tube?

Very Nice. The only thing I'd recommend is drilling the hopper for the warp hose for a tighter fit.

very nice work! the carbon fiber barrel sets off the black nicely.

where did you send it to be annodized, and if you don't mind my asking, about what did they charge for a job like that?

and to answer Russ's question, I believe that angel feed necks have a very fine metric thread, with a pitch of about .75mm I think AGD lists it on the sluggo drawings as something like M21 x .75 6H
