Also can anyone tell me how long the first bore length in the stepped design is? i.e. the main starting control bore distance.

I got my barrel from Paintball Quest, our home field, here in Birmingham, AL. It was listed at $120. Roy was nice enough to let me try it first. I have to say it is nice!!!

Holds a tight group, super light, and quiet.

Simon - I have one, I would say the control bore is about 5" maybe 5.5 ish Its out on loan atm so when I get it back Ill break out the micrometer and see where it really falls.

The one I have the internal finish is outstanding but the porting on mine looks a bit rough. I have shot it and it seems quite, but I am in the shop shoting to a 6" PVC pipe so.... Had a rather intresting talk with the guy that sells/makes them, he didnt care much for my questions about a few things because the are filing for a paten :) But over all they are intresting.

so far everyone I have loaned it to have raved about it ( all good so far ) but 130 for a barrel is a bit steep in my book.

Its going on my fUgLeY mag for the offical weigh in when I get all the stuff together. I am shooting for lighter than the C&C Xmag ]:>
