Ah... the untrainned eye misses the new clam shell sans lcd...Originally posted by Ironmag
...I really don't see anything special about this Timmy...
Compared to the Classic Timmy, it's pretty low profile.
Now if the gun in the pic was ALL black... yum!

Well, I did notice that there was no display, but regardless, I still don't see anything special about this gun other than increasing the line-up of their guns to whatever many they have now.Originally posted by Jack & Coke

Well... considering Ground Zero no longer uses the Timmy, it doesn't surprize me that Bob Long came out with "another" gun.
By changing the "GZ" to a "Z", he is no longer required to give Ground Zero a cut everytime a GZ is sold... (One of Bob's techs told me Ground Zero got a small cut from BLAST for the rights to use their name "GZ" on the gun).
Since the GZ is so popular, completely dropping it would have been a business doh!
hense the "Z"

It's not just padding their lineup like kingman does. The GZ timmy was the cheapest of their new timmies, works just like the 2k2 or dragon (with a new board, and maybe a few parts, dunno), but It's no frills, and cheaper. From the number I've seen around the field the GZ was also the best selling (In my area at least).Originally posted by Ironmag

here's the problem....Ground Zero is no longer using Timmies. Ahh AHh what do we do? A minor redesign (LOOKING NICE, Might I add
), and Rename it the Z timmy, so people see that it's filling the same market segment but isn't the same old GZ anymore. Anyways, if its not good enough for team GZ anymore, it sure as hell isn't good enough for me!

Timmy's have never been my cup o' tea.
I really don't like the fact that Z's or GZ's don't have a screen to see, but it sure is purty.
Love Classics; all black, wow.....you sir have good taste.Originally posted by Jack & Coke

I agree with you 100% The GZ was originally the only Timmy I would consider. Now it just looks like every other Timmy. Whats the point of a clamshell on a gun that already had no LCD?Originally posted by Top Secret
I see that they managed to get rid of the one thing it had different than the other Timmies, the .45 frame, which IMO made them 100x better than the ugly hump on the back of the clamshells...
I dont think they've made any Timmies smaller. They all seem to still have that 4 feet of space between the gripframe and the reg. It does kind of get old. They're all looking exactly the same now, and there is like, 12 models of Timmy.WE ARE DEADCELL, AND WE WILL RUN THROUGH YOU
