q/d slidecheck vs pro-connect
i've used both(actually i still do)
the pro-connect is definitely waaay better.
with a pro-connect, all you have to do is press in the little button and your air supply is shut off and disconnected all at once.
i'll admit it is a little stiff when you have say 900 psi going through it but it's not too bad
my problem with slide checks is they seem to eat o-rings for dinner
granted it's only a bottle o-ring so it's not hard to get one, but it's a pain to have to replace
pro connects apparently last forever...
i've yet to have a problem with mine and i bought it used
oh ya did i mention it's much more compact too?
and someone mentioned grease gun line.....
that's another trick that not everyone knows about...
it's the correct threads for paintball fitings (1/8 npt?)
you can usually get it in either 12 or 18 inches...perfect for a drop forward setup...
it's like $5 and 1000% more durable than macroline
oh ya and it's rated at 3000psi working pressure(way higher than macroline also)
