    My damn Halo broke!!!!

Decided to go shoot a bit in the backyard, I pulled my E-Mag out of my rubbermade tub that I keep all my gear in and removed my Halo so I could switch guns, as I twisted and pulled the entire Halo popped off.. and left part of the feed neck in my ULE body!

It was snug but not tight.. I can't believe it broke like this.. what a bunch of crap!

I sent Odysseyp an E-mail... this thing is brand new, came from Odyssey with the new TE software.. and I baby my gear..

I think that you should call them...they never responded to my emails. They told me not to bother calling or anything, just send it in with some contact information and they will fix it for you. I got mine back within the week I sent it, exellent customer service.

NOOOO! Trust me, I have both, and would NEVER use it over the halo. My friends just broke. The motor burned out, and as he took it off the tribal he has it broke lol.

All I did was pull on it and this Halo broke.. now I am scratching my new ULE body up trying to get the piece of **** thats stuck in the feed neck out.

Any advice on getting this out? Everything I do won't budge it. Should I feeze the body and then try or heat the plastic?

Ugh... I am so pissed off right now.

It WILL be under warranty. I had a very small crack in the shell on mine...sent it to them and it came back with a brand new shell AND the new software. Odyssey rocks.

If you left the halo on the gun in a rubbermade box, is there a chance that is could have been rocked back and forth in the container. That motion could have broken the plastic at its weakest point...right above the feedneck. Once that happens, all you have to do is pull it apart. That sounds like what happened.

As for taking it out, I'd get a pair of needlenose pliers, but them in there and then open them and try to get a grip on them. Another option is cut it in half and break it out...good luck.

Unscrew the feedneck and push it out from the bottom. My friend's revy neck snapped off in his ULE body and thats what he had to do to get it out.

Did you sand the feedneck on the HALO to properly fit in the ULE?

Yes, it wouldn't go in any other way.

I tried the needle nose.. no luck. there is a lip of metal that is flush with the feed neck.. i don't see how I could push it out.

i stuck my ULE in the freezer.. I'll see if that shrinks the plastic so I can get it out.

Should I just send the Halo in? Or should I call first?

First of all your being a dumbass yelling and scratching your ule. Sit down and calm down, find out a way to get it out without braking or scratching anything. Just calm down, if your realy worked up about it dont bother till tomorrow. If you ask real nice you could ask odyssey If they will fix the ule, but i dont know what they will say.

1st they're the dumbasses for using the plastic they use.

2nd I am going slow and I am still scratching my ULE body. There is NO WAY to get this out, I am putting a screw driver in the neck and trying to dig a grip and spin it out, the crappy plastic they use dents in and the screw driver hits the metal on the ULE and scratches it.

this Halo is new, it was not bashed or kicked or anything else, I baby my **** because mommy and daddy don't buy it for me I work hard and earn it and i always buy the best, now the best is getting scratched up because of a piece of crap product from Steers and Q... in Texas. Not AGD's fault, but my AGD product is getting jacked up because of another product.

On my original viewloader, the one with the exposed motor I have sat on, dropped, slid into home base and used it as a skid pad and always worked. this thing cost me $130 and broke when I touched it. It is a piece of crap.

Find better plastic in today's loaders. Go on, try.

Did you travel with your halo in the ULE, in the box? If so, thats a very bad idea for ANY loader. If the gun was just free bouncing in a box, any jolt in the car (big hole/bump) and wrong angles would have broke any plastic thing connected to a heavy gun. To protect your stuff it needs to be cushioned against other stuff.
