way to take my post out of context.

the fact is that is the a fea differences. the difference sbetween most intimidators you see stock is milling, board, lcd or not(then if its a no lcd clamshell or 45).

the point is the 2k2 and gz(or z) are cheaper then all the other ones even if you buy a was board after the fact so all your paying for is milling which isnt necessarily a bad thing(unless your paying almost 2 times as much for it, as it is with the was)

I am currently in the process of buying a Timmy... on the first of the month.

I am getting a Lasoya with these add-ons:

Kapp Thumper Ram (which nearly eliminates all kick), a Bob Long Volumizer (LP), a Bob Long Hyrda Bolt (supposedly really nice, don't know much about, but heard good things with efficiency, weight and other stuff) and a few extra parts like O-rings, Dow 55 Lube and Adjustable Cap (which helps line the bolt perfectly with feed tube). The total rig is going to cost me $1345-1375. I got my info at www.intimidator-owners.com so don't complain to me if I am wrong!

The shocktech really isn't "all that," but does have some nice milling and has some shocktech parts inside. I think the Shocktech Timmy uses a WAS board, but shocktech advertises the "Trigger Check Frequency" of the WAS board which is 66.6 (millions times per second). What? You can't shoot that fast? The actual WAS board is capable of firing >35bps and Wicked Air Sports doesn't really state anything faster than that on their website. The 66.6 could just be coincidence, or just for Shocktech, Wicked Air Sports cranked the WAS board to make it seem special. The shocktech name gives you that whopping price tag of $1599 IMHO.

The Species just has nifty milling but lacks an LCD screen (which reduces weight). The Non-LCD clamshell IMO is kinda lame cuz I want a dang LCD screen. The non-lcd clamshell grip is pretty much the same, but it is milled to fit the "Alien" motif and comes with 32 Degree grips instead of stock Lasoya style grips. To remedy any LCD problems you can just get Equalink from Wicked Air Sports and setup your gun via computer (really cool option but 50 bones for cable). The species is at Actionv.com for $1495 (what a joke). I found it online at a wholesaler for $1405, but you have to be a "member" to their club and it sounds like a rip-off to me.

      Well, enough said.

shocktech doesn't come with a was board. Jim Drew doesn't allow it. He has almost total control of his boards. Shocktech originally came w/ was boards, they lied about them...JD stopped that. now they come with the same boards as 2k2's, GZ's, and most other timmies.

the bob long hydra bolt is a venturi design. Venturis restrict flow from the valve to the ball, so you have to increase the pressure and increase the kick.

i'd just get a PBk or CiP bolt with no venturi.

It's not a spyder, never was, so don't post your trash. If it was in sarcasm or a joke, you need some new material buddy cuz that is old, overdone, subpar funny, and just plain annoying.

i like the gz the most or maybe a 2k2 its simple milling with everything you need(besides a was board)
And then when you get dirt or sand in an exposed bolt and scratch the hell out of your bolt/breach, its still worth it??

Honestly now, no external moving parts is the way to go. I think the Species is the best out of the timmy line for that reason!

ummm Cofee[nitro], i dont think i need to read anything... i was pointing out that largely becasue shocktech is milled into the side, it is overpriced. maybe you should read or interpret a little more carefully.

I agree, enclosed bolts rock. Why do you think Angels, Mags, and Trixes are some of my favorite guns? I still love those Powerlyte Hybrids and Vikings though, but if somehow they could make enclosed bolts it would be even better.

they made that so they could put a piece of milling in it because the bolt pin wouldnt fit on the top because of it.

and i have never gotten or seen sand get in and scratch up my bolt or breach from sand being on the outside of it. (it wouldnt get into it in the first place)

So because you haven't seen it, it never happens? You're probably right. When would a tourney player ever get dirt sand, paint or anything in a bolt opening. Especially if they were a front player sliding into bunkers...

where i live theres alot of humidity so there isn't any dry sand or dirt blowing in the air. i've never got a grain of dirt in any of my guns without dropping them in piles of dirt.
