You can get the same performance from a 2K3 Bushmaster.....
    You too?

Like DYE, you pay for the name man, and some fancy milling. Shocketech makes good products but 1600 is way too much to pay when you can get a similar preforming gun for cheaper.
So because you haven't seen it, it never happens? You're probably right. When would a tourney player ever get dirt sand, paint or anything in a bolt opening. Especially if they were a front player sliding into bunkers...
hmm i could pour sand on the back and top of my bolt and wouldnt get any in it. only way it would get in without purposely trying
Maybe he plays back? I could understand how sand and dirt would get in an open bolt if you play front but i dont see it happening much at back.

Some people are really reaching and stretching to find something wrong with a gun.... Pouring sand, sheesh.

Why don't we just shoot .50 caliber rounds at all our guns and see which marker ends up with the least amount of damage?

(**The**)Species is a better designed Intimidator.(**No Period, use Comma and make the "but" lower case**) But for someone who NEEDS (**should have bolded "needs" to really emphasize the word instead of screaming it**) and (*an?)* LCD (**add comma**) I guess that's a problem.
Since you ripped on a guy for poor english earlier (in another thread) and specifically directed this sentence towards me, I thought the grammar police would pay you a visit.

the bob long hydra bolt is a venturi design. Venturis restrict flow from the valve to the ball, so you have to increase the pressure and increase the kick.

i'd just get a PBk or CiP bolt with no venturi.
Hey Spydervenom... Thanks for the input, I didn't know that. I am going to do some more research before I make my final decision. I hear good stuff about PBK and CIP bolts too. I was thinking I would stick with a BL bolt cuz he created the Timmy and you know how the saying goes, "Father knows best." I will look into it and thanks for the info.

bob's not always right. he did make that aweful millenium bolt that is worse than the stock spyder bolt.

and yet people still buy them.

supposedly...venturis evenly distribute the air for better accuracy but i find the same accuracy with either.

bob does have another bolt out...its pretty old, but it works. its an oring-less delrin/aluminum 3 piece bolt. it comes with both venturi and open face fronts.

just get whichever you feel you like the best for whatever reason.

well i would accualy do it but the only sand we have is at the beach and theres no way im going thru 3 hours of beach traffic for a 5 minute drive

im just saying i have never seen anyone get sand in their gun(and if it did it didnt do anything to their gun) or hear about it online besides here in defense of the nemisis's enclosed bolt. and by looking at my gz there isnt any room for the kinda sand we have here to get in(i guess whereever you are you have finer sand i suppose but still never heard of anyone having that problem)
