We are not going to give a release date because it always gets delayed. We are waiting on first part approval from the machine shop. It will be weeks not months but we are only making 50 for the first batch so they will be gone quick.

We are not starting a preorder list either so save your dollars and watch the forum.

I have to admit that the new prices on the RTP make it a tempting purchase for immediate gratification.

The factory direct price for the Tac-One will be somewhere in the 400 dollar range. I think I had a post about it here somewhere.

I think that all the talk of all the high end mods is nice, but....

Stick with the basics for this.

People like black right? Put a black case on an RT valve, throw in a lvl 10 so it doesnt chop, a pretty rail, single trigger frame and a foregrip and you're pretty set. I can't recall the barrel system it will use, but cocker threaded will be hands down the best.

Now...we're talking you can probably sell this sucker for around 300 bucks. That's very close to the price of an A5, and it doesn't require much in the way of upgrades to work WELL.

Personally, I'd start with the above, and just offer factory installed upgrades (ULT kit, intelliframe, xvalve) if people want to pay more. That way you're giving a choice of how you want your Tac without having stuff that you really don't care about, you know? This way you'll get the weekend recballer that's looking for a pretty basic mag with some spice, or people who want the whole enchilada.

If you're going to offer only one configuration, I like the ULT kit, the Lvl 10, a double trigger frame (intelliframe or otherwise, doesn't matter) and a valve that can run on both CO2 and HPA.

I'm thinking that the ordering options being used on the RT ULE Custom will be used on the Tac-One. http://store.airgun.com/acb/showdetl...D=425&CATID=25 Of course the body window won't be an option

                              anychance of a twist-lock tac-one ?

There are those of us who own far more twist-lock barrels than cocker barrels afterall. I got a multi-bore back CP barrel for example, in the twist lock.

BTW, what does agd do with the valves from...

the trade ins? Do they destroy 'em or use 'em for field rental guns to resell?
