I'd say the upper range should be $475-$525. No more than that. A great price would be $425. With the A-5 around $275-$289, I think scenario people would be willing to spend the extra $150 for the Mag, unless they are starving artists. As has been said before, scenario players enjoy spending money on the cosmetics of the gun just as much as upgrading internals. Give them a top-of-the-line marker straight off, and they'll be happier. In other words, DON'T scrap the LX or X-valve. Tom has pretty much the right idea with his current layout.
That said whatever you do, Tom, for the love of Mike, DON'T take the X-Mag route and choke off the supply. I'd actually like to go to a field near me and SEE one being used when they come out.
