Okay Tom, that's a good idea for the switching pieces for CO2. Hopefully it's an easy install. Because over half of the players out there are indeed CO2 users. There's a lot of HPA yes, but majority isn't.

For the I-frame. I'd still suggest keeping it. Much faster ROF over stock frame, and I think it's way more comfortable. People, despite what some folks say, want to be able to shoot fast. And you can't on a stock carbon frame. (besides maybe those 5 people, but other 99% can't)

NONE. And your point? I think you are missing the whole point of scenario play. Do you really understand the idea behind it? Do you realize that people often make their markers and other equipment look appropriate to the scenario they are playing in? And that means that the obvious link I made to how REAL firearms look and use is a valid one.

I have argued against the I-frame and the X-valve being on this thing at the $350 mark in the past, and I still think the $500 mark with intelliframe and X valve puts this at a realistic sellable value, competing well with the A5 and a much much better deal than the scenario autococker. BTW. the name TAC-X is still soo much better than Tac-one in my humble opinion.

However, this thought occured to me, actually its a series of thoughts.

AGD seems to be condensing there manufacturing process, as in one valve in the future. This may be the start of a trend. The beloved classic mag may well be on its way out (please note I have no information other than thought on this). If the classic is on the way out, the single trigger frame is likely on its way out shortly behind it. This is a new marker for AGD, one likely to be the mechanical marker (X-valve, intell-frame, whatever body) taht continues in the future. I just don't see AGD continuing to make anything but high end mechanicals (in addition to electros) as the electro world expands, assuming certain legal issues don't hinder it it is the way paintball is going. Those of us that insist on a mechanical marker also insist on a high end one (for the most part). Rambling, I know. But lets consider this, if AGD does not intend to continue production of a single trigger frame in the future, then the I/Y frame is where it is at. This then almost has to be on their flagship scenario mechanical marker.

I do not agree with this thing as loaded as it is for under $500 - I think that is the reasonable price that I would consider. Yes $350 will sell more, for instance I no longer consider at $350 I buy. I beleive that there are strong production reasons to hold the X-valve (with CO2 capability) and the intelliframe over other options that may be dissapearing in the future.

Please note that I strongly support multiple versions of this thing, however I am coming to the realization that they are probably not there as far as production is concerned.

Please note, this is how wild rumors get started, I really have nothing to base this on other than my thoughts on the situation.

The idea of a CO2 compatible X-valve is great! Tom, you've just shaved $100-$200 off the effective price of the marker for a lot of people.

Whoever suggested it (Cyberious?), a D-ring or similar sling mount would be a very good and popular idea. I started carrying my Mag on a shoulder sling this summer, and it made a difference in those 6-hour games.

I think you would sell more markers with a stock CF grip frame, and a lower price. I would look at the sales of Mini's & Classics versus sales of I-frames (and of RT-Pros) to get an idea of how many people are in each camp. If sales of I-frames don't compare to the sales of the markers that they are upgrades for, and if thopse markers still outsell the RT-Pro, you know which way to go.

For myself, I would point out that you can always sell the upgrade, but you won't even get enquiries from people who think a higher-priced marker is a litle out of their range but who would buy one if it came a little cheaper but bare-boned. Again, maybe consider the Tac-One & Tac-Two ideas.

Shartley - Meph is a scenario player, and a pump & stock player. I suspect he is aware of your points. He just sees a different perspective. Myself, I think that the people who play big games with pump & stock are unlikely to be a viable target market for this marker anyway.

I'd also agree that changing the setup to remove the ULE trigger and the X-valve would make the marker more appealing. Most of the time I play at a rather large field and the majority of players run CO2 there still.
              New Mag in the works.

Black ULE Body, Chrome I-Frame, Chrome Omega rail, X-valved mag.

Ice ULE Body, Black I-Frame, Black Omega rail, lvl 10 valve mag.

I was just being sarcastic. I didn't need to prove you love to see your own posts, everybody knows that already.

Okay fine. Have it your way. Want 'proof'? Watch how people play Scenarios and Big Games these days. What do you see happen as soon as they encounter the opponent, even if 500 feet away? They stand and longball it as fast as they can. Then after realizing too far away, get up to 400 feet and again longball as fast as they can.

Most players just sit back and dump paint. There's many who do get closer, but it wouldn't hurt them to shoot fast either.

They make it look realistic? Of course. But they all fail since they still have a giant hopper up top! Most people are concerned about how the BODY looks. Not the trigger frame. You won't see anybody not buy a replica Spyder MP-5 because it's a double-trigger Spyder. They buy it anyways because the rest of it does look cool (to them).

Personally I don't mind. Single or Double trigger, make one an option. Either or, I'm not the one marketing these. I've only contributed what I think would be good for this, I consider it like buying a Trauma Matrix where you already get the upgrades installed. Or a FF Cocker. Warped Angel.

Besides I'm only buying the body personally I already have the rest.

Though Shartley, might want to call the Zoo. That bug which escaped must've died in your *** by now.
