I have sigs turned off in my control panel. I don't see the sigs OR the banners. I'm gonna turn the sigs on and see if the banners show up. May be a way around it.

*Edit...O.k. I've enabled sigs but I still don't get any banners. Strange...am I the only one not getting these?

Agreed. In some cases they just do not UNDERSTAND the rules. As to size and all that is. Those I can sort of understand and we can work around those.

But yea it realy makes no difference to me if they are there or not. It would be easier if they were not.

i agree, i think Most of the sig images are Ugly.. Good ones are Miscue's, cryer's (and the ones he has made?)and cphilip. There are a couple here and there that are alright.

while some of these don't violate the sig rules, they are good examples of BAD photo shoping AND combined with the rest of their sigs, they ARE wrong. And these are the sigs from 2 very small threads, under 20 posts total.

I wish Kosh would have said that the first time when all the 56Ker were complaining about the HUGE sigs.

Im sorry, but the only one that can really be offensive there is the first one, because it is larger than the rest. I dont even understand what the problem is here. Does anyone care if you dont like the WAY they look? Thats not your decision, and they have their right to make their pic look any way they want. You cant make people get rid of them cause "they look bad". What is your resolution anyways? Maybe thats your real problem, you are stuck in 320 x 480 and it takes a page to scroll by a picture, and if thats the case, im sorry for you. But the majority of the population has 1024x768 or greater, and the images do not pose a problem.

As for the banners, I agree, as I have stated in detail in Miscue's thread about them.

it's ppl like you that don't read the rules and violate them without knowing it. I'm not saying anything about the UGLY ones, other then they are ugly and unsightly, but you know the limit is 300x150 pixels AND if you use the maximum size you are limited to only 2 lines of text... take a look at Frag teks WHOLE sig, it's got 5 lines of text and 2 images.....

ya know I never cared that you PW like mad, but I do care when you reply with authority and mis the subject compleatly.

I recomend Norton Internet Security $49. It comes with Anti-Virus, AdBlocker, SpamBlocker, Firewall and some other things. It does a very good job with all of these things. I dont see any banner adds. I have Cable so pages load instantly or in less than a second so the sigs don't bug me that much. I am used to scrolling past them. I could see how they would bother you considering that a great many are not within the guidelines.

phil is correct. i use norton and i have no banner ads on this or any other site. muhahahahahaha
