so srrdude, you tell us to lay off, yet.... you insult the epic? whats that all about? That isnt too cool. Also, instead of telling us to go read all 28 pages, which you know no one will do, why dont you just tell us 3 or 4 things that distinguishes it from an epic?

Boltless opperation, that isnt origional

vert frame, have you seen an ir3? or the new frame for impulses? Please, give us reasons why it is completely different, how does it opperate differently?


Also, those other markers are not rip off's, especially in the way you described, what is unique about the e-mag, is its magnetic actuation, not its magnetic return


PLease, give us some evidence, and dont get defensive and offensive. Ao is peacefull, but we state our opinions.


Also, that proto epic looks smashingly like an e-mag! hehehe its true!

ok, here is the word from the maker of the alien gun him self, sent in an e-mail to me on the main differences of the 2 markers


Epic has a storage container in back like a automag or Matrix. That chamber pressurizes and in doing closes a door which is similar to a bolt but it goes over the ball. Pulling the trigger the valve dumps the air and a spring opens the chamber door - pressure closes it again.
>Alien has a sliding offset "hatch cover" Ram closes chamber, hit valve pin, shoots ball, ram returns and opens chamber.
>Epic is closed at rest - alien is open. Epic uses a dump valve alien uses a valve pin. Epic is in-line Alien is offset. Epic has the barrel in the front, Alien sets the Barrell back. Not even similar

gah. you people. I swear, the next words I'm expecting are "OMG!!! it's using a LPR. RIPOFF!!!" About the boltless thing. How about commending him for going a different way than every other guy out there save the Epic. Heaven forbid that someone try to improve on the design. ok, rant over.

It honestly looks like a piece of crap why do you need so much space within the marker? What mechanism is that big? Sorry if im being ignorant cause I dont know epic markers, but wouldnt a boltless design make the gun smaller and able to be more compact? That thing looks like a 20 pound chunk of alluminum

both have 10 inch barrels..
the Epic is 6 1/2 inches long by 7 inches tall.
i have a 10 inch barrel so that makes my epic 16 inches {nice and tight}
Weight 2.3 lbs. (including barrel and fore-grip)

my point is just becuz it has no bolt doesnt mean its an epic rip-off... novas, blackstars, assault 80s... ring any bells? none of them have bolts yet they have a completely different operation than the epic. Same with the alien. Its pretty much the exact opposite of the epic. Read the posts on This thread if ur too lazy to find out all the info. then at least u can see that.

If that was ur point, say it moron. And your point is is kinda dull. See the rainmaker? yeah it has a bolt. My point? the feedneck is as far back as the alien. so the alien could have a bolt.
