Are Halo B's really worth it?

Ok, im starting to get my setup in good playing order since i blew all my money on this gun that ive had for about 5 months and have had no money to spend on a bigger tank or a new hopper. but now i have about $255 and i want to be able to buy a new tank (100-130) and maybe a halo b. my question is "is the halo b really worth as much money as my local shop sells it?" they sell them for around $150 with rip and in a color that matches my gun. i know that its a true force feeder in that it always keeps force on the stack but is it worth it to go the extra mile or just go with a evlution2 w/z? also at my shop you get free maintaince on anything you buy there. ill post my guns setup last. now the problem with the tank is that its so insanely small that i can only get about two and a half hoppers out of it. its steel too so its like carring around a round brick full of air. im looking into a 114/3k wraped right now so that should be solved.ok my setup:
Its a B2K With fishgill milling and a crazy ivan anno job (sam moss's old bushy)

    -Ripper grip frame (matching)
    -Gladiator reg (matching)
    -Sonic LPR (Matching)
    -Vapor works no-rise (silver) Installed
-mac dev o-ring midrise (silver) included but not on gun
    -Chaos/tantrum chip
-new style Vapor bolt (with grooves for detent)
    -Green smart parts freak stickies
-All the vapor mods (except blue LED, gotta match ) Just cost 60 at vapor for tune
    -Aluminum ICD Freak back (matching)
    -12" AA freak tip (matching)
    -.689 freak insert
    -Matching shocktech long drop forward
    -Matching duckbill ASA
So needless to say it RIPS. and i can easily yank out of it about 15bps and if i try really hard im guessing; no realy proof here that its about 18-19. with the chaos/tantrum chip it is capped at 20 bps i believe. so do you think i need the halo? the only reason i would need it is so that i dont chop or skip a shot (and its cool to rip with a halo) and i really spray paint with this thing even without the spmod or pds. thanx.

yes, its DEFINITELY worth the $150 from odyssey

i have had my 2 HALO's for over a year now and have since then upgraded though TE and Z-Code software (no RIP drive yet)

and i would never use anything else in the world... nothing else will feed that fast for me

Well, I own a HALO B and a Z-board Egg. And while I absolutely hate the way it looks the egg is really fast and keeps up with my E-mag and Timmy great. I prefer and trust my HALO a little bit more, though, so that's what I generally go with. The quality, speed and consistancy are a little better.

However you already have the makings of a piggish setup so the lighter egg might be your best choice, if weight becomes and issue. If not I'd go with the HALO B.

Ask me again in a week. I sent 3 Halo B back to Odyessy. I was having problems with them and yes all three had Z codes. They've been there for about 3 weeks and are being sent back to me today.

I also have 2 Evo II with Z Borads. They are pretty reliable but when the Halo work they are faster.

I have been using a Halo B from the time they came out and never had a problem with it. I was using on a Emag norise body and now I am using it on my warp. I plan on picking up another Halo for a back up Emag I am building.

Hear is what I would do with your money. Buy a halo online. You can get them for 120 just about anywere. I was in one store saturday. A real store and they had them on sale for 99.99. Then get a 68/45 Crossfire tank. Money well spent.

I was never a bug fan of the force feed loader. The great number of software versions has kept me away from a halo. Besides it only holds 150rnds.

I bought a backman TSA LCD. I love it!

150 rounds... where the hell did you hear that!?

HALO's will hold around 180 rounds... same with revvy's, ricos's and the like... unless you got some mucho-big .700 bore paint

I can cram 180 balls in my Halo. Luckily, I haven't had any problems with my Halo like others. I got one with TE software about 6 months ago, and have since put about 35 cases of paint through it with not a single problem. On my viking with eyes, I notice that I can shoot a faster string and keep better rythm with my Halo than my Evo2.

Only hopper I trust is a revvy. Every hopper on the market has went down on me except a revvy. The battery wires in my warp break all the time, my eggy fried, and my halo kept jamming and breaking paint. My revvy still works. I'm using an eggy now but hope to go back to a revvy.
