PLEASE make this a sticky
we run destructive customs llc, today I got a note in the
mail to go to the post office, I figured ok we need to
sign for a box, no problem I hop in the truck and head
down .... I get there and ask for my package and the guy
goes off to look for it .... 10 mins go by no package 15
no package 20 mins and a guy comes up to me and introduces
himself as the post master..... he asks me if I know that
it is illeagle to send firearms via the usps, I said yes I
do and that we are not transporting firearms because under
mass law a paintball marker is not a firearm . he tells me
that it looks like a gun to him and he will not give me
the package untill I can produce a federal firearms
manufacturing and repair liscence. so I asked him if I can
get the customers name off the box so I can let him know
that there will be a hold up, he will not let me see the
box
to make an obscenely long story a little shorter we are
now on the suspected terrorist list for shipping weapons
through the mail and we were told by the federal postal
inspector that a paintball marker is concidered a firearm
by the postal service and if they catch us
doing it again they will take actions against us that will
most likly lead to jail time.
now the problem is that we have roughly 30 customer
markers on their way via usps and ups (ups still has no
problem with shipping paintball markers)
