I was getting around 800 shots out of a 68/3000 with a good paint/insert match in my Freak.

That's not great but it's certenly not horrible.

The mag used to be on the top when it came to efficiency. But now it ranks near the bottom. There is still worst out there however

Use a less ported barrel, and switch to the smallest spring on your lvl 10

Hmmm... my kids 3 man team with two mags and an timmy on it waxed arse all day. NO ONE ran out of air no matter what they were shooting. No one came close! Hmmmm.... perhaps we are trolling here with problems beyond what really counts? How many people start a game without enough air? How many win a game with a Mag? Seems it matters more how you play and checking your tank between games. I didn't see more trips to the air station with anything. I didn't see anyone come close to running out of air today. Mags or not. And they flat out owned the field today.

More importantly... I been in the field with mag shooters and played with mags and seen mags in the field for like five years now... and this was back when there was nothing but 3K tanks and some of them even playing with 45cc tanks! And I only ONCE saw a kid run out of air in a game. He had played several games and rather than check his air he decided to shoot the breeze with people between that game. And he ran out. Other than that I can say I have seen THOUSANDS of games, some of them VERY LONG and LOTS of paint. And not ONE OTHER TIME! have I seen any Mag shooter run out of air in ANY GAME! Seriously! That is true!

Lets get real guys. Poor Planning and being a nervious Nelly thinking about what "might" happen does not a good excuse make if you do not pay attention. No one with a lick of sense has ever found a Mag to not have enough air to last a game. Unless he himself was ultra stupid. And more people have worried about the possibility than have ever realized it. It just does not happen. If you got to make a trip to the air station one more time a day after a real busy day what the heck! Sheesh! Get off your lazy behind!

My 45/4500 flatline get's over 900+ shots per fill on my ULE Emag. I can almost reach a 1000 depending on how high my input pressure is. That is more then enough shots per game for my spot.

I usually fill my tank after every game I play and it gets kinda annoying, but whatever that is besides the point. I have though ran out of air twice when I have played back and i would just top off my tank to about 4000 on my 68/4500 maxxy and after about my 8th pod it would started to chuff then shots fell, then out of air. Being out of air is not very good, especially when your fronts need some cover. When I play back I am on the trigger the whole time. I mean I really don't have air problems playing front or rec, but back and long games is a problem. I don't want to have to sell my emag cause if i move to back I don't want to run out of air. And I don't want to get a bigger tank cause I don't feel like carrying around 20 lbs with an 88 tank, thats why I sold My 88/4500 stubby in the first place. I mean AGD solved the weight problem with ULE and now if they could work on the gas hog problem it would be even better.

Well go take a look at what Rob told you about barrels. There is a major difference in what your using and all with that. There are things YOU can do. And there is always the 72 Cubic inch Fat boy too. Thats a nice choice.

yeah I guess I will try the barrel Idea, I had no clue about that would help, but once I run into some cash I will try the barrel idea. But AGD's help would be nice too if they worked on an upgrade for efficieny too .

Ok. Let's do some crude math.

                              15 shots/ cubic inch on a 4500 system. (88/4500)

                              That's 1320 shots.

                              10 pods x 140 balls= 1400.

Add on a hopper- say 200.

You want 1600 out of an 88/4500.

                              1320 < 1600

i have an 88/4.5k and its not the weight as much as the size difference that takes some getting used to. the 88 doesnt weigh much more than the 68, its just longer and that was the only real adjustment i had to make.
