I'm not sure if anyone remembers, but AGD is a smaller company too.. Just with a loyal fan base.

With the gun vs. gun battle idea...

Take all of the markers in question , set them up on a gun dyno ( large capasity paint feeded and even larger tank like a 55 gallon drum , and a 50 pounder sized nitrogen bottle regged to what ever it needs to be at

and set a rig to fire the trigger constatly... one by one each gun will crap out the last one standing get the patent

AGD will be fine SP is worried about major companies that are a relative compittion. mainly guns in the Impulse price range because thats where they get all the profits.
the reason they are taking out AKA is because they have the viking which is taking all sales away from the shocker and it is a small company that is easy to destroy

AKA without electronics, is dead in the water - if it comes to that - SP can totally get rid of future production should they choose to enforce the patent strictly.

Tell AGD they can't produce electronic guns (if they went that far with the patent) and... well some of the neat projects would be gone, but they would still exist.

I have asked this before and never got a straight answer on it. SP claims they invented the electro, but didn't the angel come out first? I'm pretty sure it came out in '96 and was called the angel v6.

Actually, SP won the first round against ICD. Gino and national came in before the appeals process and seemed to have saved ICD from smart parts by taking ICD under the national wing, along with Bob Long. Smart Parts is now battling in court with WDP. If they win against WDP, which they most likely will, then it is over for the rest of the industry. AKA will probably have to settle just like national did, and if AGD gets served papers on this patent, they too will have to settle. A court case even if won would most likely cost more then settling out of court. Companies like AGD and AKA cannot afford this legal battle.

Actually, ICD settled out of court with SP, and according to one of ICD's factory techs, NPS DID NOT buy ICD.
