Why do vegans not respect the lives of the oldest living things on earth...plants. What makes the survival of a vegan more important than the life of any living thing.

I think you're being harsh here. For a while, I refused to play paintball because the paintballs aren't kosher. But then RPI stopped making their "Bacon Cheeseburger" flavored paintballs, so I started up again!

Eh - the only "vegan" thing I do is that I won't eat veal, just because of the way the cows are treated. Other than that, I'm a huge fan of fish!
