Thank's for the awesome kid quote. I think that may be a first! Speedball in rec is fun because it allows for crazy stunts, such as me getting to the 50.

I'd like to thank everyone who helped put on this event. I had tons of fun and look forward to the next. Also to everyone who showed up for being there to play, Knightbreed for the location, and Blackcell for the grub.


Note to any mods: If my attempted resizing method of print screen, pasting into an AOL email, opting to resize it, and then resaving it to my computer didn't work, and the pics are too big as far as file size or pixel size, let me know and I will try to resize them with a real program.

I'd just like to add two thank yous that I missed before

First, to this Mel character

Thank you for everything you did to help host the event. I hadn't initially connected the dots to see what went into this from a finance standpoint. The airball field looked pretty slick and there were some good games on it. I had just assumed that the fill station was local to the field and hadn't realized that it was an additional expense. Also, as for $45 paint. Let me just say that since I play at Skirmish a whole lot if you ever see me complaining about paying $45 for paint I'm suffering the effects of a Syphillis induced fever and I would appreciate you getting me to a hospital.

And to Dayspring:

If I had any complaint about the day, besides a few hot guns, it was the organization in the beginning of the day. My buddies and I had hoped to play the tournament a little but by the time we saw the list it was full. We were a little annoyed at that since we were some of the first people to show and had been waiting around for some time. Then we sort of chilled by the rec ball area waiting for something to materialize for a little longer, and it wasn't until Dayspring grabbed us and threw us in there for some 3 on 3 that we started playing. He showed real iniative in getting us on the field and starting things up. By our 3rd or 4th rec game the sides were 10 on 10, so I know we weren't the only ones waiting for stuff to start. Thanks Dayspring, you got our day going.

I would have more sense to bring this to a thread or forum that did not bring up any political problems for that day. But then again, some people don't have class.

I dont get it. Is this the same "great guy" that turned around and shot a ref 3 times because he asked him to step off the feild. I don't understand why this whole incident was and is being over looked? I think this guy is a scumbag. No matter what your arguement is, or what you thought you heard, when did deliberately shooting at a ref become acceptable?

Some how this became a Deadcell caused dispute, and no one cared that this *poopy-ooky* had committed near assault on an individual who wasnt even holding a marker. Yeah, real great guy/teammate

For the record- NightHawk was shot in the head while on the 30 or 40. Admittedly this is a traumatic thing to go through. While he seemed a bit dazed, the ref (Jeremy) told him step off the feild before you get shot again. He was standing right in the cross fire of a game still in progress. Some how he took this as a threat from the ref as "Get off the feild or I'll let them keep shooting you" Instead of asking for assistance or doing anything in a more respectful manner, he turned and shot Jeremy about 7 or 8 times, hitting him 3 times.

You would think someone who's been around paintball, and has probably played more "higher up" tournaments than AO day would be able to keep his cool. I guess not. Instead he acted like a complete jack-off.
