really the balance of the gun doenst mean a whole lot to me like fireblade pointed out all my trigger hand does is pull the trigger and hold the gun up when im loading... the rest of the time all the weight is supported bye my off hand...also i think that for best speed there is a setup but this only pertains to walking the trigger and that is when your wrist isnt all fandangled up..thats why alot of folks swear bye rails, also those same guys use smaller tanks..i have an 88/4500 and my brother has a 114/4500 having drops help off set the size of these things..

The gents are right, once you have 2 or more points of contact (shoulder + supporting hand) the whole balance deal is out the window. The only time balance is truely an issue is when you're one handing the marker.

Agreed Evil Bob. With a rail setup and a 45 frame my wrist is in a natural position, almost as though I'm shooting a fire arm. Having no drop gives more stability since you aren't all bunched up. Plus it stretched everything out to have a more natural grip on the frame, which I believe leads to faster rof. Small drop, like shocktech minis in my opinion aren't all that bad, its such a small move it doesn't make that much of a difference, but once you get in the 5in forward area, it starts having a negative effect on your accuracy and rof.

Also with drops, you put an extreme one on, and then you are a hell of a lot tighter in the bunker, you can come out with your elbows tucked in. this in turn means smaller profile, smaller target area

The selling point for me awhile back was I realized I could play just as tight or tighter without my drop. I used to think, like well my drop makes me so compact, etc. Then I had to use a gun without a drop at a tournament and I was like..wow..this works great. It IS all preference, everyone has to remember that. But I really think that a lot of people should try it a bit more, the reason "the pros do it" is because its the most efficient way to play. IN ANY CASE! That
Speed rocks Tony..I love that gun..I love you for purchasing it, and when you mentioned the Lasoya..I hope your getting the Lasoya Hk'ed and not trading?? Because that Speed is awesome.

Nope, got a custom annod silver lasoya on the way. I liked the feel of my Z way more then my speed. I could also shoot my z much faster then my speed, just because of the feel of it.

Getting rid of my drop forward improved my snap shooting 100%.
