    What would you do?

OK well I just got a new Matrix and I had let a friend use it at a tourny because it needed fixing and he could do it as well as use it. So I said sure you can use it but if you lose it or get it stolen I will kill you. then like this
So then I get a call today from my local paintball shop and they tell me my gun is lost and the kid you was using it is afraid to tell me.

So I flip out becasue my previous marker was stolen and I did not get it back for a year then two weeks ago I got it back and sold it for the trix. So basically I have not had a gun for a little over a year.

What should I do too him, his family or what.

report the stolen item/s to the proper athorities and learn your lesson. thats about all you can do.

Its never a smart idea to pass around $1000's worth of equipment.

wow that sucks..u sure he didnt steal it and say he lost it? try to make him buy you a new marker until you get urs back, which i doubt he'll do. or if your really pissed at him, cause him a 1000 worth of dmg(but thats prob a bad idea)

if he left around thinking it was safe it was his fault and he should pay to replace it

if he was robbed (somebody literally took it from him) then I would take it a little easy on him but either way he lent it should have taken care of it

                orr maybe your being punkd

Did it really get stollen from him or did he steal it from you? I'd be on a war path myself.

If you told him he was responsible, make him or his parents replace it. Guns generally get stolen because people leave them unattended. He should have shown an EXTRA level of concern with your equipment. He owes you a replacement.

If he is a trustworthy friend, make him pay half. Or else suspect him of stealing it and selling it. That's fairly suspicous. People don't just "lose" their guns.

Make him replace it. I never loan out my marker, unless I'm there and just not playing.

Well, if I were the other guy. I'd mount a search and rescue effort like no other. Assuming it didn't show up in a couple days, I'd then be finding you, begging you NOT to kill me, while trying to find a new trix to replace yours or just give you cash value on one in similar condition (your option). I then would walk away like a beaten puppy and never ask anything from you again.

In your situation, you should hit the kid up for the cost of the gun. It was in his possession and was his responsibility. You always treat borrowed stuff like it's made of solid gold. I lent my mag to a friend and when I came to pick it up at the end of the day, he didn't even wipe it off. Paint everywhere. Needless to say, he won't be able to borrow anything again. Condolences on the trix.
