Im kind of wondering why people are so pissed about this. Get over it people, he wrote it, he apologized, the end. We aren't in second grade any more. Crying about it won't change anything. There are way too many more important things in life than to worry about one reporter says on an internet page.

And phil, not exactly sure why you are not responding. No offense, but it seems to me like you got your feelings hurt (can't blame you there), but you just won't let it go. Seems kind of childish to me. If you are really that hurt, don't let him come. But you aren't punishing him (or anyone else) by not holding the event. Makes us dissapointed in you more than anything.

what i think is going on here is that phil is doing his hardest to make this such a great event and people are not appreciative of his work. when reporters go out and write negative things on something you worked so hard on it makes you feel like ****. i would love to go back to sc but if it aint gonna happen i dont blame phil.

well, if phil isnt going to get it going, then maybe we should take this into our own hands. im sure one of the people who lives near clemson wouldnt mind making the call to Extreme Outdoors and setting a date for this to happen. it isnt like we cant just do this ourselves. it may not have all the sponsers and stuff coming, but it will still be a gathering of AO'ers.

well, i was thinking extreme outdoors since it is still in clemson, and people know how to get there. i was only really bringing up the subject to if phil just outright doenst do anything. we should give him another month, and if he doesnt tell us about anything late sept., then we can go to plan b, but for now all we can do is hope phil will answer us.
