so can the people who come from out of state who have made scao days turnout so large. maybe this year none of the out of staters should come cause its too far and all.

you really dont get it do you. ao days are meant to be large gatherings. also the more people you get to attend the more sponsors are willing to discount.

What i dont get is how this turned into a fight over 2 AO events almost across the county from each other. As a potential sponsor of the 1 im really discouraged by the whole thing.

im not going to fight you guys over aose...i dont care that much. if phil isn't going to go it, i was offering that i would be willing to try to hold something in its place, problaby not as good, but still something.

if this is how its going down, i see why phil quit....because if this is how it continues to go down, i will quit also. its not worth it. i'd love to see all the guys who were at ao day last year, and teh year before, but i aint goin through hell fighting other aoers for it

to tell you the truth, i dont think either gideon nor myself are capable of putting something this large together, mostly due to school and lack of knowing what to do. im going to support kev in making plans, since he already has experience in this feild. i really want this to be as good as the last couple years, and two high schoolers, i dont think, would be able to complete such a task.

However... I will tell you that recently I was in discussion with TAG about hosting it. I do not know if they can or will. If they do then I will be discussing it again. Otherwise not. If they do it I will help. If they do not then I am out of it and have no reason to discuss it at all. Fair enough? Will have to be. In the mean time we all getting ready for Ivan so we not realy got time to discuss it a lot.

I agree. In a post in the original(?) thread there was already a rough layout of the plans for this event. The location and accomidations were already placed.
Ga Devil has offered some sponsership , for prizes whatever?....

I feel like this event is nothing more than a few phonecalls and a date away from happening. I realize that many people feel that if there isn't an amazing sideshow that it will not be up to the standard of the "AO" events of past. Most event I have ever gone to created their own "entertainment" simply from the group getting together. You put this many paintballers in a close proximity and something is bound to happen.

Many people have already proposed going. Lets set a date , call the field and tell them we are coming.....and worst case scenario let individuals deal with hotel accomodations on their own. Lets play some paintball!
