New GOTM Owner??

I signed up to be a judge. Tell me where to go to judge! Seems that the place you had started doesn't have GOTM anymore. I had PM'd you on this matter and YOU said you had to revise the method in which we judge. I'm kind of POed on your statement! You make it sound like it is the volunteer judges fault!!

It not there fault at all. I was trying a new way to see if more would vote,didi not work out. I find that the older[over 18] people here on AO do vote. Its my fault that SOME judges do not vote, but than agian so jut do not get back to me at all, thet makes me mad. I came up with a new way to vote.
It will be posted tomarro(I hope).

Your going to have to wait. Feb is closed. Posted is "The most unique" and "Best of show" should be up soon for the people to vote on. Save them Pics for the March GOTM. :)

how did i lose to a classic valved mag? no offense to the red and chrome mag but mine has xvalve viperblade rogueneck and everything. Who decides what guns get to be voted on?

Don't worry about it dude, DJ still plays with the numbers. That's why 7/10 of the entries in best of show are 'Mags..

This is Off Topic and I apologize...

Unless I am completely mistaken this is not a contest about which gun you would rather be shooting. It is about style, and looks. If it were really about which you would rather be shooting I really don't think a Nel-Spot would have made it. Because while I would love to shoot one, and some others might, but the majority would probably rather have something much faster. Yes yours may have better upgrades, but visually it is very basic and black. Which isn't to say it doesn't look nice because it does, but it isn't exactly unique or stand-outish.

Guess what? It isn't about how the gun shoots, it is about how it looks. The judges probably think the red and chrome looks better, plus it isn't classic valve, its an old rt valve. I don't want you to start crying when you realize this contest is based on opinion and looks, not really on preformance. Guys, this contest isn't life, who really cares.

IMO, a good idea would be to have an automag best of show, and another all other guns best of show. Since most of the guns end up being mags.

Duzzy-If black is so basic and black then why did you guys goo and gah when Roguefactor posted the pic of his very gloss black marker? I picked the colors that suited me, I went with black because black and red are my favorite colors (also why I will be picking up a red ion).

And if it is just a contest and nobody cares then why are you posting if it is just a thread that has to do with the same contest that nobody should care about?

I apologize if you thought I was acting like a jerk personally I don't think I did, in fact I believe I even said in an indirect manner that your gun looks nice. My problem was not with your color choice, but your comment about which gun people would rather shoot. However, I do not have a problem with black, in fact, black in red are my favorite colors, my E-mag is black and red and my RT is black. I never said nor hinted that they are not good colors or do not look good, but black is a basic color. Almost everything is available in black because it matches, and it looks good, but it is not something new and exciting.

EDIT: Also, I would ooh and ahh over something new that RogueFactor/Coolhand came out with in any color as long as it looked good. I highly doubt black is the reason everyone likes their products, I think it has something to do with what they do with them.
