Seems as though I am always the "mom".. Except of course when I am around the POG guys, then I suddenly become helpless... go figure...
As it stands right now my girl child and my mom's foster baby will be staying with me sister that weekend... The boy child will probably be coming to the fair grounds for a bit. I want him to learn more about the game and what not.. I doubt if he will be staying for any long period of time as his attention span is 2.3 seconds... Although I could just send him off to the other OGD camps and have him ask them millions of questions and throw them off... lol..
Now that I think of it I would probley lose him to the first spokesmodel he see's.. I am not sure if that is a good or bad thing. But he is very good at smooching up to the "older" chicks

Alright team, we need to consider when and were we are going to meet... I'm thinking an hour or so before the captains meeting... we might walk the field sometime that night, or just live with what we see in the morning. Thoughts, ideas?

I know I am not on the team, but I have played IAO for many years and for the last 5 years I think it's been that I have played with POG, which has always been an Internet pickup team.

This year will be a bit different in that the captains meeting will be about 30 mins from the field.

Since we are playing Thursday I assume that the field will be available to walk at some pointon Wednesday. Traditionaly it's been available after the games are played that day (usually about 5pm). So I will ask Kevin if he know what field the OGD will be played on so we can see if it will be open to walk before the captains meeting. Unless you are staying at the field (camping) or staying some place near the field, it's probably not going to be logical to drive back up after the captains meeting. I know my team is meeting before the meeting in hopes to walk to the field, but also to be able to get to know each other.

Either way, I hope to see everyone at the pre game meet and greet Wednesday night. It's always nice to get to know the person you are shooting the next day

wednesday inbetween games or during lunch break
wednesday after captain's mtg (should be light for another two hours) -- discouraged with the 'meet and greet'
thursday morning before games (should have two hours)

I'm sorry for the meeting at night wednesday, but i needed to give captain's as much time as possible to get here.
