but what if you want something less expensive then an imtimidator? but better performance then a emag, or a rt?

i think all that needs to be done is a decent electro grip (or a cheaper eblade) and mags might gain some popularity

I hear that, the devil mag is expensive, plus the wait is horrible. Honesty I have no idea when to expect the frame I ordered.

I'd buy two maintence kits so I can look back in 10 years and say, YEAH! I think I still have some mag o-rings laying around.

As for Tournaments being bigger than Scenario. Open your eyes man. Scenario and big games have ALOT more people than any of the large tournaments. BUT...scenarios do not sell. These players keep the same gun for many years and no big rags cover them.

As long as AGD cuts their overhead, I can see them staying right where they are at. They have always been a small company.
How many people did shatner ball have? Isn't that one of the biggest scenerios all year? I bet any of the 10 major tournies had more people as in players.

Someone said something about how the new owner wouldn't just buy the company and close it. I'm lookin at it from this point of view. If Tom decided to stop after all these years of paintball industry, working and fixing most of the problems with the mag, and the end of the E-mag, then something must be wrong. I have talked to some people that have been in paintball since the start and they are sick of the way paintball works these days (lawsuits etc.) So, maybe that is what happened with Tom, but I guess we will never know for sure.

Shatner is small compared to D-day.

Scenrios sell alot, but I agree they don't sell markers. It is vests, communication, water bladders ect. Tournaments and the teams that use them sell the markers.

Ok, I do beleive that AO has essentially set forth a buisness plan that I see as able to work, I cannot understand why AGD would not implement this...

-New looks, OMGSTFU bodies, already been done, now just needs to be produced large scale on a marker, key note, DO NOT MAKE LOOK LIKE MAG

-nice, fast electronics, eyes, 9volt, been done, devilmag

-drop the freakin mag name, lay the AGD name off of it.

-MARKETING, HYPE (hit em hard, fast, hook em while they're young, dont let the facts through the BS)

                    -serve hot
                    Defiant, w00t, w00t

                      Bought and autococker...

I recently was in the market for a higher perfomance marker and was considering an ULE mag and an autococker. I was leaning towards the mag, then Tom retired. I started getting a little worried about the furture direction and stability of AGD. This along with the pneumatic trigger delay/whatever happened made me choose the cocker route. I felt like I had betrayed my roots (I still own an older mag), but do you blame me?

I have a sneaking suspicion that there are many out there who could relate similar stories. The point is that the current state of AGD is less than healthy and all this conjecture of possible closing reflects this.

I, too, am worried about what the future holds for AGD and I already sold out. After some thought, I just don't see the situation improving. I hope I am wrong.

Regardless of what happens with AGD (and I suspect that it's not going anywhere anytime soon), my mag will be by my side out there on the field. I've got parts, spares, and good techs in the area that can work through anything, with anything.

The reliability of my marker is not affected by the fortunes of the company that manufacturered it. If, and that's a big IF, AGD went away, I'd be just as proud to display my marker as the day I bought it.

If AGD went by by I don't think much would change. I say this because the valves are bulletproof, my classic valve is at least 9 years old now and has had only 2 oring kits put into it and it still shoots like it is new.

Other than the valve, most things can be bought aftermarket.

for hype, i think that a smaller dump chamber = less air shot would work well
I wanna X-mag, but im too poor.

                                You guys are funnie

                                1) I own the inventory

                                2) I lease the infrastructure

                                3) Tom has not yet decided on what he is going to do with the patents and trademarks.

He has taken time away, and I believe he will have more clear vision in the near future
when he returns. There have been talks, but not much progress, I think Tom was a bit burnt out.

I'm sorry I do not have the time to post here often, but I have seem to had the time to stablize the bussiness here. One thing at a time, until the "machine is rebuilt"
