the rumors involving k2 and agd

hey i know that theirs been alot of questioning about the direction in which agd is goin in this industry. but am i wrong, i could have sworn i heard something about that k2 possibly put out an offer or something to buy out agd or something. that would be a a said day to see mags made on the assembly line next to autocockers. i hope that the new pres can bring back the lust and glory of agd back to not just the rec and scenario play but to bring it back to be a leading contender on the tournament level.

k2 is a reputable company.

mags cant be made like cockers can.shotty and not to spec. theyr requite good machines and competent machinist.

any feeble attempt would be a disaster.

if a purchasing company kept everything to spec i wouldd ahve no problems with that. ex if they maybe ADVERTISED!

yeah, if the quality could be kept up... it wouldn't be too bad- economy of scale would prob allow lower prices and like chronobreak said, mags need a bigger and better image - from advertising and sponsorships. Of course, that all takes money.

No-one is sure what is going on but if you look at this http://67.19.5.132/vb/showthread.php...094#post442094 you can see where the K2 part might have come from since they are mentioned but then you could have subsituted Smart Parts for K2 and got a different rumour

Think who are the true big boys and then look and see if AGD is on that list....it would be nice if this rumour did include AGD since IF K2 are the company involved they have the patent agreements for Electro markers so the E-Mag.X-Mag could come back or even a new version....lets see how long it takes for someone to call what I have just said as "fact" in the rumour mill.

hell i wouldnt be suprised if this was true. K2 already owns Worr games, Veiwloader, brass eagel which owns JT which owns Challenge Park Xtreme which used to own me lol i say they are starting a pretty good monolpy. haha time will tell

I'd be happy for AGD if they got bought out, hopefully k2 would be able help them market more. Along, give them more money for R & D to get us a good electro out there.

yeah, I read something about this it's on the pgi p8ntballer website. Something about K2 buying another big name paintball company, lots of speculation that it is PMI and not agd...

Assuming you mean that AGD would be low on the list of takeover targets? Agreed. Have actually looked at trying to get a job with K2/WGP, and K2 corporate has no idea whats going on.
