I really wouldn't mind if AGD got bought out. Think about it. A combination Cocker/Mag is what the market needs in a mech gun...and imagine a cocker with an X-valve and Level 10. A buyout like this would really benefit all parties involved.

Large company. Accross the pond. Seems like that would fit WDP, which, when you think about it, might possibly make more sense than Eclipse.
Black/Red Tribal 2.0 BBT, Morlock board, 90* Angel Space frame, to many goodies to list. SOLD

Warp fed custom cocker, all aftermarket.

And, WDP could do with somewhere to manufacture their markers at US prices.

And, AGDE is just a shell now so AGD could use better European exposure.

                But......

Why would Tom have only just sold the business to have it change hands again so rapidly?

Word is Aaron Alexander and Dan Voils have left AKA for newly created STD Industries. Aaron is the son of Larry the owner of AKA and LEADS Metals products. That could be a production site stateside?
AKA bought out making WDP markers stateside?

                  Who knows.

Tell me how it could possibly make sense to do manufacturing in the US if the same level of quality can be achieved for significantly less at some other part of the world.

Manufacturing capabilities isn't going to be the carrot on this deal. Intellectual property, brand recognition and distribution capabilities would be the reason for the acquisition.

BTW, I was unaware of Aaron and Dan leaving. Good luck to the two of them.

Hmm. But if the beating drums are coming from across the pond, wouldn't it be the drum-beaters doing the acquiring? Or do I have my metaphors mixed up?

LMAO.. you all thought that SPs use of "the patent" was harsh.. could you imagine a company like K2 with such a thing (if they bought WDP). I mean.. they have already tried to push claims that they now have the rights to the autococking design by trade dress... what if they actually had a patent on electronics, or part of them or whatever WDPs patent had

                                ..

AGD's great design is its downfall. Think about WW2 with the Thompson(Mag) and the M3"Grease Gun"(Cocker). The Thompson(mag) requires a large amount of precise milling, and the overall design is complex. Now the M3(cocker) works fine, fires just as fast and is easy to build. Now if you were going to be a production company, what would you pick to "gear" for ? Precision milling of many parts, or to make simple basic parts?
I wish I was a zombie, but I'd be a smart zombie like Jesus.
