I think Im just going to get an Impulse. Start out with the basic one, get a tape worm, new bolt, blade trigger. Few months later, Vision. 68/4500 nitro for that. Egg with Z board, should be fine, no?

The thing is, I cant spend $600 on a gun when I want to spend $800 on the gun, nitro and hopper together.

keep looking into mags man, you can get a nitro duck x-stream (adjustable) for $233, macroline for $11, hopper for ~100~, and thats 350, then get a rt pro custom w/ intelliframe, ule body, xvalve, and lvl10 bolt (which replaces eyes) and you're set for shooting 13 bps legally, (and 30 bps illegally, but who would do that??? ) and you willhave IMO the most reliable marker in existance. plus, if it ever has any problems, AGD has their "star" policy where you can ship it to them and they will do a complete fixup for you and just knock off one star. i think their new guns come w/ 2 stars, but im not sure.
IMO electros r way overrated, if you can shoot it at 13 bps, you will hit someone off the break just as well as at 30 bps, and unless you are getting really serious about tourney ball, you wont have a hard time competing.

If you are buying a Impulse, get a used aftermarket one. Their resale value is a lot better they come with everything you need.

Well, I showed a friend of mine the TacOne and he is thinking about buying that because he plays scenario. We all (me and some friends) do, but hes goes all out... 98 Custom with M16 kit and an A-5 with a G-36 kit.

The ULT (ultra light trigger?), what does that do? Lighter trigger pull or shorter? How much is it to convert to electro down the road?

the ult is a a new on/off that reduces the trigger pull down to less than a pound , wich for a mech is super light , thats what i have on my tac one

Well yes, but are they worth it? Mini has said really good stuff bout Vikings, so I was wondering if excals are really $400 better. Whats the diff between X's and Vik's? Isnt it just X's are closed and Vik's are open?

Did some reasearch on the Excaliburs and Vikings. They look really nice, and I havent seen a single bad review of them. My only problem is that they are rather large, and thats not good, seeing as I play front. Well, I guess I'll just have to stick to automags. Oh well!

dude if your going to buy smart parts get the ion...you wont have to put all that other stuff on it

and no the rt in tippman and the rt in agd are two different things. rt is just the name for the valve...not a trigger system upgrade
