Anyone use a poison arrow barrel system?

    Hey guys,

I'm looking into getting a poison arrow barrel system for my X-mag, they look like a really high quality barrel. I was just wondering if any of you guys have one of these systems and could give my any pros or cons or just tell me what you think of it. Also if anyone has any other barrel system that they really like I would like to hear about it. Thanks for any info.

They are supposed to be a very good barrel system. I dont know the name of the makers, but there seems to be quite a buzz about them on Guam.

Another set to look at would be the SM-1 pro by Sanchez Machine, He started out as a DYE designer for barrels then went out on his own. He also makes the kaner kit and other WGP barrels. Lord 1234 sales them, check him out for a deal.

My team has been using the Poison Arrows. The quality and proformance is of the highest standards. If you ever looked at their website everything that it says it can do, it does. Of the 3 teams at our field most of us use this barrel system. The ones that don't, can't because it isn't compatable with every marker. Super happy with it! The only draw backs it has. I seems louder than most, slightly heavier (but it isn't going to crack or bend), the cost. The cost of the pro set is what now 280, but as always you can piece it together. The prototype carbon fiber is almost done. No word on a release date, but it will address all the draw backs. One could wait for it or snag the original now. I like mine so much I have two sets. One for each mag.

Talking to the guys at the proshop I go to, they have shot every single barrel kit that is cocker threaded. And guess what they told me.

They all shoot the same, doesn't matter if its a cheap 3a kit or a SS freak, or a match stick set, everything shot the same.

It really isn't, especially for mags.

However it is nice to have your paint batch your bore when you're shooting...say, an autococker type marker, just so you dont have paint rolling out.

hint: what im telling you, is the barrel isnt all its hyped up to be. honestly, i would just get a 691 dye ultatlight, or any other barrel of your choice, and use that, and not worry any more

i have a .689 dye ultralight on my TES, and it shoots all the different kinds of paint i can get around here equally the same as far as accuracy goes. for some reason, it shoots Evil paint farther, and so does my Maverick.
