its like being pulled dover by a super duper state trooper and saying my car speedometer says i can go 150 officer, so its ok.

well that would be fine if there were no rules, but there are. just because you CAN do it does NOT mean you SHOULD.
    Good post.

I have a Predator installed in my Speed and I could set it to some real funky settings that would not only be outside the tournament rules but the Laws of my country...with this in mind my Predator has no full auto settings whatsoever...the AFA etc I can set to be outside the rules but I choose not to.
A cheater board only becomes that when it is set in a manner against the rules of the field/tournament. A true cheater board (there is a difference ) is one that can be set to outside the rules settings and then with one flick of a switch become a legal marker within the field/tournament rules..the Predator is not one of these boards..I know no-one really picked up that you "thought" they were Predator equipped, but someone will remember your post and title. All current Predators come with all the capped modes and specific tournament circuit modes so you as the user make the decision to use the incorrect settings. You will get busted as soon as a judge takes your marker as the Predator will not reset to another settings, I know I had already said that but in case you missed it the first time
Should a field/tournament choose not the check the markers then all you can do speak to the owner and if nothing changes then you choose to spend your money somewhere else...a field will soon get the message that they need to do something if their income drops.

and how do you change who?

Huh? Are you not aware of what is generally considered safe play?

No Bounce,No 'Hot' chronos,No un-safe Marker setups,No unlimited or usually no full auto at all,No Overshooting, exceeding established Caps,etc... That should all be a given for most people....I think. If not, now you know.

You CAN have an impact on your field Owners and his Refs.' Enlighten' him on the fact that you and other unsatisfied paying customers are willing to go play somewhere else if conditions don't change. Explain the possiblilty of legal action for negligence and unsafe field practices. Also that signing a 'waiver' does NOT exclude him from civil damages bases on actions under his control the have a negative safety impact in the patronage.

'Most' business owners are in it for the money,if you can explain in a mature and rational manner that this kind of behavior has a negative effect on his bottom line,MOST will listen and try and comply.

For those who don't, you shouldn't be playing on thier property anyway.
