FU, I got a spyder xtra knowing about the sport and the other guns out there but i want to show my friends that spyders are actually good guns and they are reliable. So im upgrading my spyder so it performs at its best, and its best is actually really ****ing good. But if you think people that buy spyders dont know about the sport and the more expensive guns out there, your dead wrong. I bet, and i know im sounding like a inmature kid here but, I would own you if I did ever see you playing at some field. :) -

LoL, wow, getting a little hostile there, aren't we? This isn't PBN.
You're obviously not part of the norm. I guarantee you most of the people in the sport want the best gun they know about, and for a lot of new players those are the markers they see at sporting goods stores.
And you have NO way of knowing how good a player I am or not, so what's the point of saying you would "own" me if you ever saw me playing?

Um... He said most people who buy Spyders, not all... Way to represent the Paintball community. Misread something and then over-react... Definitely something to be proud of, and you are right, you sound like an immature kid.Originally posted by spyderxtra76FU, I got a spyder xtra knowing about the sport and the other guns out there but i want to show my friends that spyders are actually good guns and they are reliable. Now what I actually have to say...
My first gun was a PMI G1 I believe, or whatever they called their first semi. It was the coolest gun ever to me, and I still wish that I had kept it... And yes my guns are the coolest because I own them. Why? Because I worked hard for them, I did my homework, and occasionally I sat on an AO street corner whoring for a new gun, or money for my dream gun.
I have seen bigger idiots with $1k guns than any person with a Spyder... Admittedly that is where I live, it might be different elsewhere, but it is the truth in my area. The Spyder owners are other assorted "clone" owners are actually much more mature and want to have fun. They don't bunker little kids and brag about it while at the same time conveniently forgetting to mention the victim of their bunker move was an 11 yr old boy who has never played before.Comment

There will be douchebags no matter what gun is in their hands. It could just be probability. The distribution of douchebags could be the same across all paintball guns. You see more lame folks with Spyders merely because there are so many Spyders out there.
Spyders are great guns. Put on an electro frame with an ACE and Halo and you have an insanely stupid fast gun.Comment

i own a 98 spyder, a 2k2 timmy, an e-mag, and a cocker trilogy. now i like the timmy and the emag, but i've had to do far to much to both of them to get them to work well. i've had to replace countless air barbs, a ram sleeve, and now both regs on the timmy, all while working at the required input pressure. the emag, god nows how i did this, but the power tube ram or something like that broke. now the spyder, worst thing that's happened, chopped and the bolt stuck. hit it with a pod or against a tree and it works again. the cocker i've only had for a while but no problems yet. now when i mean problems, i mean more than just regualar lubing and cleaning. i've even made my spyder electro, but went back cause it was so much nicer mech. duzzy-"And yes my guns are the coolest because I own them. Why? Because I worked hard for them..." now i don't instantly pish-posh some1 else's gun, but i do belive my guns are awsome.e-mag 226

Just to make a point from a Spyder owner. You seem to be basing your opinion on a very small group of people. I shoot a Spyder, and I KNOW that most of the people I play with are better than me. Only time I ever talk like I'm the best is when I'm messing around with my friends who don't take me seriously anyway. Don't let a few people ruin everyone's reputation. That would be bad....
BTW Tribalman? Can you really free the bolt by hitting it with something. Only way I've ever been able to get it out is by taking a screwdriver and using it to pull the bolt back.

And second I never trashed anyone else's markers. Either way you cut it I will always like my markers more than anyone else's. That doesn't mean other people don't have cool markers, or markers that I wished I owned, but at the end of the day I like mine better and they are the coolest to me.And yes my guns are the coolest because I own them.
